  • this is way off the mark dude.........sorry dont meant to hurt ur feelings but at least use common sense............the gravity is goin crazy he stops mid air after a back flip and jumps up when he's falling?

  • he landed on the ground for some time.

  • levitates like crazy frog!! lol

  • how do i jumped backflip?

  • wat was that?

dude.... he's human!!! u have to move his limbs a lot and specially when it's spidey u goda work on his body language......it looks like a toy was flipped of the roof....

  • so, uhh... what just happened?

  • loool it looks very very funny.. xDD

  • fail man fail

  • Worst maya animation by far

  • how do u create this

  • nobody wanna know how he did this ^^.. EPIC FAIL

  • sorry, but this just sucks.

Rotate the body more, move the limbs more. This is inhuman. And dont move the cam that much, move the cam slowly.

  • I agree. I see what your trying to do but IT IS SOOO EPIC FAIL!

Try rotating rotating before he jumps.

  • funny

  • o my gosh this is so horrible. it looks like a toy getting flinged arround. you're lucky i actually like spiderman. and no i can't do 3d animation but with 2d animation i could do way better

  • needs work....

  • could yall take a look at my animation and critique...I have a spiderman animation too and I would love you guys imput

  • ill this is horrible sorry man, the only way to become better is to admit when your stuff sucks

  • can you do it?

  • ......wtf?........

  • isso ñ é o homem aranha isso é o hulk pintado de vermelho e azul

  • HAHAHAHA

  • lol spiderman is not rigged

  • lixo

  • wow man tht was amazing *wink wink*

  • HAHa

  • LOL

  • lol

  • 5/5 and fave

  • so how many poses did he have? ...2?

  • spider man looks constipated

  • well, without motion capture, its really hard to create the character movement manually.

  • I went to SAAST and trust me, they taught you the correct way to capture body movement. Yes it is difficult but..

  • That's terrible. Motion capture isfor lazy animators.

  • its not really lazy because they have to go back and tweak it anyway, its a respectable too, it's like saying an eraser is for amatures...it's a tool. I never used motion capture mind you but i respect it, especially for sports games

  • That's a terrible analogy. A better would be "that's like saying stencils are for amateurs."

  • Yet you probably still managed to understand the point i was making regardless.

  • Watch any Pixar film and watch Monster House and try to tell me the latter doesn't like lifeless by comparison.

Motion capture is like tracing a photograph- sure, the end result is a near-exact likeness of the original, but a caricature (animation for this analogy) of that person, while not exactly accurate, captures that person's likeness better because of the little cues the artist purposefully draws in for the viewers sake.

  • it is lazy (period)

  • la wea chanta

  • The way he has no arm movement intrigues me. His arms are just spread out as if he were crucified with and invisible cross and thrown off a building. If he lands on his feet, he lands on his feet, the people who crucified him don't care, just so they can know that they accomplished the task of throwing spiderman off a building, they're good. Lol, work on this alot, and maybe you'll come out with a Spiderman that hasn't been over eating. No offence

  • lol nice perspective.

  • that was only a dumb fall in that video

  • he looks a litle...bulky...

  • needs more keyframes and also more dynamic movement, he hardly puts any effort to jump off that building and falls down like an action man figure being dropped. he also bends his legs way to soon when he hits the ground, even spider man would break his legs doing it like that. use more refrance from the movies as i know he is always low to the ground on his hands aswell when he lands a jump.

  • i agree

  • Gastric-take off is one of spiderman's abilitys you know.

  • dude compared to you i suck to my first animation atleast. so dont listen to other peoples comments

  • ya im just learning in this too this is a good start!

  • me to im learning

  • what program r u using?

  • poser

  • spiderman was falling down... slowly... so so slowly.... until, he goes even slower... and slower... and slower

  • dude, what were you thinkin when you putted this here |-( it sux, learn to animate then shot it to people

  • and your awsome animations are where?

  • in my channel, dah, I just said things the way they are, this animation still nedd many hours of work.

  • shit, i was hoping you wouldnt have any

  • :DDDD

  • Good start. I find the easiest way to learn motion is the half-studying books and half-studying real life approach. See how people move when they land after falling varying differences. So how they throw their weight around when the do flips, etc. You obviously aren't an experienced animator, and I'm not really holding anything against you. This is a better start than I made with character stuff, so I'm just saying this to help you skip the issues I went through.

  • thanks, i appreciate your advice

  • No problem. I misspelled tons of stuff in that last comment, but whatever. I myself will need to work on character animation a little soon, for some long-distance shots in a movie I'm working on...no saying what, though ;-).

  • good jop

  • wow. WOW!!! HOW DIDYA DO THAT!!!

  • pretty cool. Did u make the spiderman model?

Send me it and i could probbly fix it up, it could be more detailed. 4/5

  • cool. watch my vids also

  • the city was pretty good the textures on ur buildings could of been better and u should speed up that flip. NO arm movement also kill the hard work it takes to make a flip good job though

  • There's very little secondary movement. Its an ok start, but, a lot more needs to be done.

  • incredible !

  • Awesome animation!
