I'm considering this instead of buying a standalone GPS, screen, etc..

How does the iPad GPS turns out for you? Is it reliable?

@guilhermeschwertner I have a BT GPS device and it works perfectly... Navigation on the iPad is the best out there.

so i have to ask , i just did a build on my truck for the ipad, i went through soundman for all my parts, only problems are the screen lock whenever i turn my truck off it takes 2 minutes to turn it off. how would i fix that problem, another is that i see right when you turn your acc on the ipad comes on, i hardwired mine via usb on a cig lighter. help me just a little bro

@mkfriedrich90 Just hardwire your cig lighter adapter to the accessory power so it sends power only when you turn the key.

1st off I would like to give props on the work. I have a few questions about your install. I'm planning on running a iPad In the dash of my ride. I'm trying to figure out which route on pulling this off. There's tons of ways to do this. I'm mainly looking to do this for audio and navi and possibly rear view cam. A buddy of mines had his double din connect to his iPhone via Bluetooth. I thought it was cool. Sound quality was great. I'm thinking about going that route. Get a single din that's Blu

@BKZJAYY718 I initially tried BlueTooth when I first got the iPad, but the drawbacks I saw was that the audio quality was lacking, if watching a video, it would lag (mouth wasn't in sync with the audio) and you have to go into settings app every time to pair the devices instead of just plug and play. Just a few things to keep in mind. Plus BT will run the battery quicker and you won't be charging it if you're not connecting it...

@gamer111095 Yes. It has active RFID. Meaning that once I get near the truck it will automatically unlock and engage the push to start and when I leave, it will automatically lock.
