nixon; "and also never forget, the press is the enemy, the press is the enemy, the press is the enemy, the establishment is the enemy, the professors are the enemy, the professors are the enemy, write that on the blackboard 100 times, and never forget it..."
have we ever had a president who isn't willing to shred constitutional rights in the name of power?
I lay the shit on that asshole Johnson. Seriously I don't think anyone with a brain expected Nixon to scuttle out of Vietnam like step and fetch it. His plan was to prep the ARVN for our departure (Vietnamization) and that was a wasted effort because...those boys didn't want to fight.
@1138thz I would ask you to expand your view a little bit. No political situation can long succeed without the cooperation of the people. That is basically why we lost in Vietnam and that is why the Soviet Union fell. So how can politicians deceive the people into cooperation? THEY LIE. JFK was going to pull the US out of Vietnam. He was murdered before he could make it happen. JFK promoted peace with the Soviets and Cuba. They murdered him before he could expand that.
@1138thz There are many rumors and questions about JFKs murder. Some light is shed by LBJs mistress, Madeleine Brown, which you should view here on youtube. She was with LBJ in Dallas on Nov. 21,1963 when LBJ met with J. Edgar Hoover, Nixon &wealthy Texas oil men. When Johnson left the meeting he told her that after tomorrow the Kennedy brothers would not embarrass him anymore. Johnson lied the US into was, Nixon promised to end it but expanded and prolonged it, The PEOPLE wised up and it ended.
Seen 'Executive Action'? came out in 1973 and it was doing well but was pulled from the theaters after 1 or 2 weeks and tossed into the can not to see the light of day until the late 80 and early 90's on TV. They didn't name names but pointed at the military Industrial complex, Its on YouTube in like 10 parts. What accelerated the end of the war (I think) was when the draft lottery kicked in and rich kids started getting drafted. Mommy and daddy don't want baby to get hurt.
@1138thz I am reading a book about JFK and his peace efforts. JFK went to Vietnam in '51 on a Congressional fact finder and was told by an expert at the US embassy that the French were losing to the VietMinh and if the US got involved they would lose to and that in thirty years ALL colonial operations would wide would end. He was right. The NEOCONS and other fascists have been trying very hard to start a new type of colonialism.
Isn't that why the NeoCons used 9/11 to first get a foot hold in Aghanistan and then fabricated the notion that Hussein had WMDs to invade Iraq? Check this the military budget is now at 700 billion and 280 billion of that goes to contractors not for weapons but for 'services' what a deal huh?
@1138thz Well, the NEOCONS and BUSH 41 actually said that when the promoted the "New World Order" in the PNAC speeches. But it goes WAY back and it much more wide spread than that. Let me suggest you view the documentary videos here on youtube on The Fascist Plot and Marine General Smedley Butler. The NEOCON plan is to bankrupt the US on unwinnable wars to get the Federal government so small and so crippled that they can overthrow it like they tried in 1934. That's there plan.
I read Butlers book: War Is A Racket . I think the last 2 real presidents we had were Eisenhower and Kennedy those boys were not 'owned'. When the congress gave the military some huge budgets for shit we didn't need gold plated obsolete jets. Eisenhower shifted the money to build the interstate highway system Kennedy was going to pull us out of Vietnam so he had to die. And that the scum-sucking NeoCons and DemonRATS were all on for war with Iraq tells me that they are the same.
@1138thz Well I agree that it is hard to tell who the friends of America are. So let's get back to the basics. Read the PreAmble to the Constitution to see what the Founders intended and then use that to judge. This is all about power and control and money and in the history of mankind it has always been about that. And for some, the precious few, it is about the people. Generally but not always it is progressives that help the people. The Constitution is about giving them power.
"They made BILLIONS from Vietnam and eagerly sacrificed sixty thousand Americans"
it's all about special interest, kickbacks and who's pockets you fill the most, they get these George W. Bushes elected. The most disgusting thing i had read was the CIA and special interests were shipping herion and cocaine from S.Vietnam into the caskets of dead American soldiers and selling them to street criminals in America for profit so some of those BILLIONS went to that enterprise.
@jfiles000000 RIGHT. First of all money was NEVER the problem. The military had plenty of resources to carry on the war with a LITTLE belt tightening. Nixon turned his back on the S. Vietnamese when he signed a UNILATERAL peace accord in Paris at the direction of the treasonous Henry Kissinger in 1973. SO The war in Vietnam ended in 1975 AFTER Nixon resigned in disgrace.
@exenrontexas : America had NO business interfering in the affairs of Viet Nam, and we all know it. The punishment on us fits the crime we condoned and participated in. Our militant government has been out of control for decades. Failure on our part to rein it in will bring MORE catastrophe onto us.
@buzzclick500 Perhaps not in the way you mean. I served in the Navy during Vietnam and served TAD on the USS Turner Joy somewhat after the Tonkin Gulf incident. Even the Navy and Robert McNamara have since testified that the attack NEVER HAPPENED. LBJ LIED to start the war in Vietnam. BUT since the US won the war against Japan and Japan occupied Vietnam during WWII, the US DID have a responsibility to transition to a new form of government. We SHOULD have promoted democracy.
@exenrontexas : "Democracy" is a cover word for communism. It implies ownership of the world; a job too big for any government or people to handle. The very word "democracy" is a lie unto itself.
@buzzclick500 As defined by Thomas Jefferson and the other Founders, democracy is governing with the consent and participation of the governed. It is the most fair system on earth but comes second to the kingdom of God where a perfect and all powerful God rules perfectly and justly with grace. We will not see that until the rapture. SO can the Vietnamese PEOPLE throw OFF Communism without a fight? Can they chose whatever system they desire? Do they collectively own their own country?
@exenrontexas : Eisenhower started the war in Viet Nam when he sent "advisers" over there, which he had no lawful business doing(he "got away" with it, because Americans had just discovered the joys of t.v.). Point 2: Our Constitution guarantees "A Republican form of government...." Gotta be a reason for that.
@buzzclick500 We ALREADY had troops in Vietnam because we defeated the Japanese. The French especially de Gaulle tried to talk his old comrade into giving it back to them since the Japanese kicked them out. Vietnam had not been an independent country for several hundred years and except for LBJ, Ike and JFK were cautious about sending troops in. JFK ordered McNamara to remove our troops from Vietnam after the '64 election. ALL of the Founders wanted government based on democratic principles.
@exenrontexas : Until Americans understand the differences between ourselves and our government, we will remain in the "tar pit" of misunderstanding and suffering. This isn't Sparta, it's AMERICA.
@buzzclick500 Techically we are a Republic but NOT AT ALL like the Roman Republic. MUCH closer to the Greek or Iroquois nation which is government operating with the consent of the governed. BOTH Conservatives and Progressives are pushing for government being closer to the PEOPLE, although the Tea Baggers are an aberation.
@buzzclick500 When N. Vietnam defeated the French in May of 1954 the country was divided up at the 17th parallel according to the geneva peace accords.Basically the French wanted nothing to do with Vietnam beacuse they lost alot of money and soldiers,so America look after S. Vietnam.
Originally, they wanted to bring the 2 countries into one but the Eisenhower Admistration never trusted that the election would be fair so it remained 2 seperate countries.
@buzzclick500 Probably from the potsdam conference when Stalin, churchill, FDR divided up what land would be communist and what land would be capitalist. The French had control over All of Vietnam at the time but in 1946 Ho Chi Minh started his rebellion against the French. When the French pulled out in 1954, the U.S and the communists agree to divide it into 2 seperate countries. It was the cold war.
I agree with that one.His SS programs and all the other legislation he pass made the U.S goverment into a permanent beaucracyTaking America off the gold standard was bad too.
@jfiles000000 : Researching things on our own can lead us to some shocking conclusions; Rosefield(Roosevelt)took power and Reichpraesident Hitler was elected in the same week. It was like a global "boxing match" between the Ultimate Jewish Banker and the Ultimate Patriot. Everyone put their bets down, and it ended in the SAME WEEK 12 years later. Creepy.
@exenrontexas Yes, but Nixon would have continue the war but had his hands tied when congress pass the War Power Resolutions Act.All U.S combat troops operations were finished by summer of 1970 with advisors helping the ARVN until 1973 when Congress pulled the plug and the ARVN were left to fend for themselves.
@jfiles000000 Nixon was elected in '68 with the promise to end the war in Vietnam but now you say he would have continued it? Perhaps but Nixon was much more devious than that. Vietnam was his way of pitting the Communist powers against one another. Don't you think Hanoi was concerned when Nixon visited China? And then went to Moscow to sign a arms limitation pact? Nixon was willing to throw anyone under the bus for his own ego which is what happened in Vietnam. Remember this is Tricky Dick
@exenrontexas Thats right Nixon promise the S Vietnemese leadership that he wouldn't bail out on them after the '73 peace accords were signed but Nixon again did the opposite and withdrew. He lied to them. But water gate and the water powers resoulution kept Nixon from esculating when everyone at home wanted the troops home.
@jfiles000000 Some say that Watergate was Nixons great crime but I think it was lying to America to continue the war in Vietnam. Far, FAR more damage was done to America by that. He prosecuted Daniel Ellsberg for releasing the Pentagon Papers but I would have given him a medal. The enormous hypocrisy of LBJ, Nixon and the CIA about Vietnam is a stain upon America. We are better people than that and should have caught them early on.
@exenrontexas Vietnam War was about power, money and corporate greed.LBJ was a stubborn son of a bitch.Ed Lansdale knew the U.S couldnot win in Vietnam unless you drop nuclear weapons.
The Vietnamese had been fighting for there indepedence for 500 years.First it was the Chinese than Coloinal France, and than America and all 3 lost because the Vietnamese perserved. It was there civil war and politics was not the issue it was an idealogy.
@jfiles000000 Basically correct but if America had a different culture about war we might have been able to foster a different outcome in Vietnam. You are right that the war in Vietnam was about nationalism, but if we could have worked with the Buddhists (the majority in the South) to develop their own nationalistic force then it might have made a difference. Instead we worked with the Roman Catholics left over from French colonials. Then it would have been a civil war not one for freedom.
@exenrontexas It was Ike an the CIA that put Diem in charge of S. Vietnam in '54,but that was a mistake because 97% of the vietnemese are Buddists and Diem was catholic, thats like putting a baptist as the president of Indonesia when 98% are muslim.Diem was a puppet and the Communist NVA new it.
@jfiles000000 Again it was a concession to Ike's old comrade in arms to put a Catholic who allowed French plantation to operate in S. Vietnam. Since the US kicked the Japanese out of IndoChina, they had an obligation to transition to whatever government the people wanted and basically Communism was not and still is not their choice. But it was not LBJs purpose to facilitate that but rather to put billions in the pockets of his supporters. One of the big ones? Brown & Root aka Halliburton.
@jfiles000000 On another note, it was also a war to promote the fascist goals of the US military industrialist complex. They made BILLIONS from Vietnam and eagerly sacrificed almost sixty thousand Americans and millions of Vietnamese without regard to the cost since they never paid any costs. Their kids got deferments and even then they paid very little taxes. Halliburton was one of the worst.
@exenrontexas : Actually, Nixon had no ego--every president since Johnson has been warned that they better toe the line or pay the consequences(safety of their families, etc.). On his deathbed, Johnson said, "We run a 'Murder, Inc.' out of the Caribbean." America has become a nation which is governed by the things we don't talk about openly. Donald Trump is already changing that.
@buzzclick500 The only thing Trump is doing is feeding his own ego. However, I am not surprised that he is the GOP front runner. If America wakes up before they overthrow democracy in America, the PEOPLE will lynch them all.
What a couple genuine slime balls. This was George Bush and Dick Cheney 30 years earlier. Ironically, Cheney worked on Nixon's staff. Just proof that lying, deceitful scum is a common thread among Republicans.
Even with the murder of RFK, Nixon would have lost to Humphrey had Governor Wallace not run in the South. He took many votes that would have gone to Humphrey.
The press is the enemy the press is the enemy. The press is the enemy the press is the enemy. The press is the enemy the press is the enemy. The press is the enemy the press is the enemy. The press is the enemy the press is the enemy. The press is the enemy the press is the enemy. The press is the enemy the press is the enemy. The press is the enemy the press is the enemy. The press is the enemy the press is the enemy. FUCKING A RIGHT TRICKY DICK. A generation of New Left rot makes it even more true.
That is open to debate, but I believe (like many others) that winning the big prize (California), albeit rather late in the game, was enough to shake things up in a major way - even if it would have meant at the convention itself. We will never know.
Well not ONLY because of Sirhan (a bit tongue in cheek there), but I think since the general (Humphrey/Nixon) was extremely close in key states, that one less major act of violence (in June, and therefore "probably" a little less in Chicago) may have kept enough "middle of the road" Democrats/independents from (switching/staying home) voting for Nixon ("Law & Order"), or even Wallace for that matter. Who knows?
Nixon drastically reduced the number of troops in Vietnam starting almost as soon as he took office, greatly scaling down the American presence in Vietnam. He expanded only the bombing, which he believed was necessary to force the North Vietnamese to be willing to negotiate, and of course he believed that attacking the North Vietnamese in Loas and Cambodia would shorten the war. He may have been wrong in his assessments, but he did draw the war down to an end by taking out almost of US military.
exermontexas is suffering from senile dementia. i just checked out his used profile and he's 61. we can't even use the "he's young" excuse. the best we can say is that he's left the proverbial building.
Nixon also drastically increased the body count and expenditures in lives and treasure, spread the war into Cambodia and elsewhere and betrayed the South Vietnamese. The only question is whether or not Nixon purposefully wasted America lives and money during Vietnam for the sake of his MIC supporters. The fact remains that the war only ended with the fall of Saigon AFTER Nixon resigned in disgrace AND many of the NEOCONS in the BUSH WH refined their lying skills during Vietnam with Nixon.
saigon collapsed because the democrats hammered through the Case Church Ammendment cutting off all funding and support for our south vietnamese allies. once they passed it, they got the defeat that they so wanted.
I disagree. The loss of the war in Vietnam was inevitable considering that the USA was a democracy and South Vietnam was not. LBJ lied to America to start the war and Nixon lied to continue and expand it. THey BOTH were tools of the MIC (Military Industrialist Complex). The MIC thrives on war and dies with peace. It had NOTHING AT ALL to do with actually fighting communism or liberty for the South Vietnamese. War is the end result of a stupid, gullible public. The PEOPLE must control gov.
number 1 the loss of vietnam was not inevitable. number 2 the explanation you gave, "the USA was a democracy and South Vietnam was not," is ludicrous given the fact that the US has helped other non- democracies to victory in war. just look at south korea, which didn't become a democracy until 1988. 3rd, if you do believe in an all powerful "military industrial complex" then you should understand that the war was waged specifically because of communism.
The freely elected president of South Vietnam was assassinated by the CIA in Saigon in 1963. They blew his head off in the back of a jeep with a 45. NO leader in South Vietnam after that ever stood for election and ALL of them were Romana Catholic where 90% of South Vietnam was Buddhist. The PEOPLE hated their appointed "government".
Sure, the US has set up lots of NON-democracy governments. Shah or Iran, Chile's Allede and Saddam. We support tyranny and become we our own worst enemy.
it's pointless to continue this discussion as your thought process is completely disjointed. all your comments are unrelated to what i'm saying and even contradict other things you had stated previously. in any case, if by supporting dictators the MIC cuases war, then they are their own best friend, not vice versa.
Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler served 34 years in the Marines, fought in FIVE wars and when he retired he came to the conclusion that "WAR IS A RACKET" fought for the benefit of large corporations. Nothing has changed today.
I believe that FDR did not act on Butler's testimony because he could threaten the robber barons with treason and got them to go along with the New Deal. That is, IMHO, why they were never charged. Butler was a man of high integrity and patriotism and he was also a devout Quaker. There have been few, very few, like him. Imagine if he had been around during Watergate, the Pentagon Papers, the Panama invasion, Gulf War and Iraq War. Maybe then we might have impeached a few Republicans.
a "loser"? it's the winningest loser in history given that his standard of living and life span have increased generally speaking in the last 100 years.
2nd only to Mexico in poverty; ranked 54th in medicine; over 102 trillion in government deficit; Lost all but no 3 in their Bill of Rights; Plummeting quality of life index; some meds marked up 600K percent; health care costs X2 ev 7 yrs; foreign bankers print their money with interest (privately owned FED Res Bank; & they can't even audit them); 50% can't read their meds; 25% functionally illiterate (ranked 49th in world literacy); 25% no High School; 25% think sun orbits earth; etc
How is that a valid point at all? I'm pretty sure the U.S. isn't the only "free" country, and it certainly isn't the only place where you can find brave people. Why don't you try to think a bit harder next time and not just quote your nation's anthem.
canada is a fucking toilet of spineless french stock , who are scared shitless to do anything other than bitch about things they have no power to influence.
Yeah, they are liberating them but at the same time they kill them with bombings. They liberated them from cruel leaders, but countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan is actually quite chaotic nowadays. They even failed to liberate Vietnam. All they managed to do was to massacre millions of vietnameses.
And yes, everything I just said is partly true. In america there is only 1 thing that people think about, and that is: Money!
They don't have any free health care which is quite embarrassing.
it's america's fault that insurgents murder mercilessly? notice that violance went down after the surge in iraq, which means that americans, not insurgents, are the liberaters and defenders of the innocent
it was that way in vietnam too, because the communists were responcible for the vast majority of the murders, and then doubled the number after the war
thank you, sweden, for helping us defend the innocent.... it's not like it was the US that defended you from the communists for decades...
@pushups2345 It still doesn't make them the best country in the world when they have a shitload of other problems in their nation. Kind of like the ones I mentioned a few comments back.
So yeah, they might have helped other countries, but they are sure not helping their own nation.
interesting, wasnt it america that stoped your country from becoming another cuba? how is your economy? here in new york city we have a huge dominican population, why isnt it the other way around? why to all these people try to come to america? why doesnt this happen to dr? isnt it ironic that a dominican citizen is talking about "combat civil unrest in the States"?
keep this in mind next time you express your free speech or see an ad to "save the children" in the dr
They should have painted on all the bombs "Happy Holidays! And a Happy New Year"

He prosecuted Daniel Ellsberg for releasing the Pentagon Papers but I would have given him a medal. The enormous hypocrisy of LBJ, Nixon and the CIA about Vietnam is a stain upon America. We are better people than that and should have caught them early on.
exenrontexas 9 months ago
@exenrontexas Vietnam War was about power, money and corporate greed.LBJ was a stubborn son of a bitch.Ed Lansdale knew the U.S couldnot win in Vietnam unless you drop nuclear weapons.
The Vietnamese had been fighting for there indepedence for 500 years.First it was the Chinese than Coloinal France, and than America and all 3 lost because the Vietnamese perserved. It was there civil war and politics was not the issue it was an idealogy.
jfiles000000 9 months ago
@jfiles000000 Basically correct but if America had a different culture about war we might have been able to foster a different outcome in Vietnam. You are right that the war in Vietnam was about nationalism, but if we could have worked with the Buddhists (the majority in the South) to develop their own nationalistic force then it might have made a difference. Instead we worked with the Roman Catholics left over from French colonials. Then it would have been a civil war not one for freedom.

@exenrontexas It was Ike an the CIA that put Diem in charge of S. Vietnam in '54,but that was a mistake because 97% of the vietnemese are Buddists and Diem was catholic, thats like putting a baptist as the president of Indonesia when 98% are muslim.Diem was a puppet and the Communist NVA new it.
jfiles000000 9 months ago
@jfiles000000 Again it was a concession to Ike's old comrade in arms to put a Catholic who allowed French plantation to operate in S. Vietnam. Since the US kicked the Japanese out of IndoChina, they had an obligation to transition to whatever government the people wanted and basically Communism was not and still is not their choice. But it was not LBJs purpose to facilitate that but rather to put billions in the pockets of his supporters. One of the big ones? Brown & Root aka Halliburton.
exenrontexas 9 months ago

Donald Trump is already changing that.
buzzclick500 9 months ago
@buzzclick500 The only thing Trump is doing is feeding his own ego. However, I am not surprised that he is the GOP front runner. If America wakes up before they overthrow democracy in America, the PEOPLE will lynch them all.

2 words explain the election of Nixon in 1968:
Sirhan Sirhan
RonPaulGeorgeRingo 3 years ago
RFK would not have won the democratic primary.
boynamedblue 3 years ago
That is open to debate, but I believe (like many others) that winning the big prize (California), albeit rather late in the game, was enough to shake things up in a major way - even if it would have meant at the convention itself. We will never know.
RonPaulGeorgeRingo 3 years ago
fair enough, we will never know. therefore it's a bit difficult to proclaim that nixon won only becuase of sirhan sirhan.
boynamedblue 3 years ago
Well not ONLY because of Sirhan (a bit tongue in cheek there), but I think since the general (Humphrey/Nixon) was extremely close in key states, that one less major act of violence (in June, and therefore "probably" a little less in Chicago) may have kept enough "middle of the road" Democrats/independents from (switching/staying home) voting for Nixon ("Law & Order"), or even Wallace for that matter. Who knows?
RonPaulGeorgeRingo 3 years ago
interesting point.
boynamedblue 3 years ago
Nixon drastically reduced the number of troops in Vietnam starting almost as soon as he took office, greatly scaling down the American presence in Vietnam. He expanded only the bombing, which he believed was necessary to force the North Vietnamese to be willing to negotiate, and of course he believed that attacking the North Vietnamese in Loas and Cambodia would shorten the war. He may have been wrong in his assessments, but he did draw the war down to an end by taking out almost of US military.

boynamedblue 3 years ago
Nixon also drastically increased the body count and expenditures in lives and treasure, spread the war into Cambodia and elsewhere and betrayed the South Vietnamese. The only question is whether or not Nixon purposefully wasted America lives and money during Vietnam for the sake of his MIC supporters. The fact remains that the war only ended with the fall of Saigon AFTER Nixon resigned in disgrace AND many of the NEOCONS in the BUSH WH refined their lying skills during Vietnam with Nixon.
exenrontexas 3 years ago
saigon collapsed because the democrats hammered through the Case Church Ammendment cutting off all funding and support for our south vietnamese allies. once they passed it, they got the defeat that they so wanted.
boynamedblue 3 years ago
The PEOPLE must control gov.
exenrontexas 3 years ago
number 1 the loss of vietnam was not inevitable. number 2 the explanation you gave, "the USA was a democracy and South Vietnam was not," is ludicrous given the fact that the US has helped other non- democracies to victory in war. just look at south korea, which didn't become a democracy until 1988. 3rd, if you do believe in an all powerful "military industrial complex" then you should understand that the war was waged specifically because of communism.
boynamedblue 3 years ago
The freely elected president of South Vietnam was assassinated by the CIA in Saigon in 1963. They blew his head off in the back of a jeep with a 45. NO leader in South Vietnam after that ever stood for election and ALL of them were Romana Catholic where 90% of South Vietnam was Buddhist. The PEOPLE hated their appointed "government".
Sure, the US has set up lots of NON-democracy governments. Shah or Iran, Chile's Allede and Saddam. We support tyranny and become we our own worst enemy.
exenrontexas 3 years ago
it's pointless to continue this discussion as your thought process is completely disjointed. all your comments are unrelated to what i'm saying and even contradict other things you had stated previously. in any case, if by supporting dictators the MIC cuases war, then they are their own best friend, not vice versa.

Marine Corps Major General Smedley Butler served 34 years in the Marines, fought in FIVE wars and when he retired he came to the conclusion that "WAR IS A RACKET" fought for the benefit of large corporations. Nothing has changed today.

So very well said!
Butler was tired of serving corporate interests; so when they asked him to be the new Hitler (coup dEtat over FDR), he ratted them out!
Sadly, FDR was working for the banks
Nothing ever seems to change
Now we have Obama who is afraid of conflict; and hires people of contradictory consensus!
Nothing will change!
sugarpuddin88 3 years ago
I believe that FDR did not act on Butler's testimony because he could threaten the robber barons with treason and got them to go along with the New Deal. That is, IMHO, why they were never charged. Butler was a man of high integrity and patriotism and he was also a devout Quaker. There have been few, very few, like him. Imagine if he had been around during Watergate, the Pentagon Papers, the Panama invasion, Gulf War and Iraq War. Maybe then we might have impeached a few Republicans.

Yes! Exactly!
I feel Americans have no concept that for the last 100 years it has been the Bankers vs the Corporations for power & control over government

besides, most of what you list there isnt even true... sweden
pushups2345 2 years ago
Yeah, they are liberating them but at the same time they kill them with bombings. They liberated them from cruel leaders, but countries such as Iraq and Afghanistan is actually quite chaotic nowadays. They even failed to liberate Vietnam. All they managed to do was to massacre millions of vietnameses.
And yes, everything I just said is partly true. In america there is only 1 thing that people think about, and that is: Money!
They don't have any free health care which is quite embarrassing.
oRReOP 2 years ago
it's america's fault that insurgents murder mercilessly? notice that violance went down after the surge in iraq, which means that americans, not insurgents, are the liberaters and defenders of the innocent
it was that way in vietnam too, because the communists were responcible for the vast majority of the murders, and then doubled the number after the war
thank you, sweden, for helping us defend the innocent.... it's not like it was the US that defended you from the communists for decades...
