  • aahh, muleke!!! OX FITNES CLUBE BOTAFOGO representando!

    Ótima academia.

  • Awwwww, they're playing with balls. That's so cute.

  • I hold a purple belt (no stripe) awarded by Royce in 1998. These "special" exercises are gay as fuck.

  • @DoDilly188 I agree with you. There are only so many hours in the day. I think one should do traditional strength/power regimens combined with hard technical regimens....what do you think?

  • @bourquechris Absolutely, you know the deal. Basics- rock bottom deadlifts/squats/flat bench and overhead press. Throw in some pullups with 50lbs in a rucksack, some bent over rows, fast walk up a hill for 40 sec 5 sets with 205/315lbs and rope climb using no legs

    Seriously, these guys are gay.

  • @DoDilly188 Sounds good. And maybe throw in some plyos for good measure eh?

  • @DoDilly188

but they would whup your ass and they would hold you down for hours and pin you in your ass hole for saying that.

  • @DoDilly188 so u didnt train anything for 13 years :) i can imagine your fat body cant do even 1 push up, you can put the belt in your ass, it means nothing

  • @DoDilly188 congratulations

  • Im 16 and i train in BJJ 3 days a week and i also hit the gym 3 days a week, i do mainly quats, bench, shoulders and lat pulldowns and then afterwards i swim. Do you recommend me doing this to build explosive power for my sport or should i be doing something different ?

  • @IAMaBJJwhiteBELT I would recommend adding a circuit routine sure, but in the end doing more bjj is whats gonna get you conditioned regardless. BTW replace lat pulldowns with pullups/weighted pullups. Pullups are SUPERIOR to lat pulldowns.

  • @RSixBoy Thanks for the advice :)

  • @RSixBoy so would you say cross fit is good for BJJ?

  • @zzboy82 in MY opinion, I am not a big crossfit fan b/c I don't like some of their methods(for eg, doing like 50 power cleans in one go.. What does that do..? Power cleans are supposed to be trained for POWER, short burst of power, explosiveness, NOT endurance). Though many people swear by it, I think its just a matter of opinion. Give it a shot and judge based on your RESULTS, not from "oh it must be effective b/c I'm sweating and breathing hard and shaky".

  • @zzboy82 There are many other (and imho), better methods(in terms of function for bjj) for conditioning other than crossfit

  • really great

    well done

now im ready for 90 min extreme BJJ cardio

  • cool .

  • Awesome training!!!

  • sweet!!! thanks !

  • WHAT IS THE NAME OF THIS MUSIC?

  • Q MÚSICA É ESSA HEIN GALERA?

  • itallo is the best :))

  • That is some pretty solid simulation training. I especially love the cable work. Gonna try the shoulder bridge with rope (on the ground).

  • Pretty cool, gonna start doing this now in the gym

  • how many sets or do you wok with time

  • Nice workout that is exactlty what functional training is .I can see how every exercise relates to jujitsu positions and moves. Good job.

  • @steelcage13 not bad but the strength work on the ball is always a mistake, the ball makes strength work less effective.Whenever you see that youll know the coach is limited.Cable or band resisted training is good way to try to transfer general strength gains into specific strength as the event nears.

  • @billysue2 how is the ball less effective? You need to stabalize yourself while using it. Hence, stability ball. You obviously cant go as hard since you need you'll need a broad range of muscle groups to keep you steady.

Ball work is essential for jits.

  • @billysue2 but using the ball forces you to engage your core muscles, mainly the transverse abdominus, helps balance and links most body movements together

  • nice.... looks like fun.

  • Super job guys keep it going strong best wishes in your cross training

  • How many sets and reps is best for each exercise or is it better to work with time?

  • Excelente trabalho..! Vídeo muito bom, com boas variações de treino pra chão..!

    Parabéns..!
