  • "...simplemente Exquisita..."

  • Ms. Womack is one of the best country female vocalists ever. Her voice is wonderful, but it is also unique -- instantly recognizable. She has chosen some excellent material through the years, so that material will give her a lengthy career. I look forward always to hearing what she will do next.

  • Brilliant video and song. A stylish hommage to the 60s and real country.

  • she is so amazing i absolutely love her and her voice

  • One of the greatest songs ever written or sang.I played country music since the 1960's and if i had my choice,i would have played on this.Simply one of my favorite songs ever.

  • this is a very good song they should add all the rest of her songs she has some beautiful songs

  • Ive always loved the uniqieness and authen ticity of Ms.Leann Womacks music!

  • That awkward moment when all you want to do is read the comments for a really good song and all you see is a pointless religious debate.

  • It takes a brave woman to even put this song out in the superficial world we live in today. She earned a place in country music a long time ago and this proves she's still got the balls to stay there.

  • Too bad no person has ever put the best real country song this woman ever recorded on here, real country music is "When the Wheels Are Coming Off", that is how real country music should sound, not allher whining trying to fit in in Trashville bullspit, this woman can sing, and "When the Wheels Are Coming Off", is a fine example

  • @drmountebank1 When the wheels are coming off is a great song. It's been in my collection for years. Artists live or die by radio airplay and that's a shame because most of the best songs are never released. Especially on country radio.

    kenny nash

    youtube "broke in Beverly HIlls"

  • i think downtoa whisper must be from Westboro Baptist

  • Shes 44 and im 20, but i think i would still settle down with her if i got the chance :)

  • ohhh myy goshh shes beautiful in this video

  • I'm not into any of the religious stuff going on here but check out from 3:17-3:23 when she's walking with the light blue gown. Does anybody else see horizontal striped bikini undies underneath the gown.... Look real close....HELLO !

  • Also, if i may add.....You cant preach "no divorce" to ppl who have ALREADY gotten a divorce and asked for Gods forgiveness!!!

  • U cant witness to ppl for God by judging them. All u have done is created a hot dish of unnessary bs. Remember the woman at the well? u dont know where ppl stand in their life w God.NOONE except Jesus Christ is sin free.u condem ppl for divorce do u condem yourself for judging? There is a way to witness to ppl & this is NOT it. Ive had many sins in my life including divorce but I know how to ask God for forgiveness and I HAVE asked for fogiveness. Even with my sins I AM a Child of God!!!!

  • I love this video and even more love the idea of her wanting to show off her daughter (the brunette with wavy hair when just the two of them are sitting on the bench...that's her eldest ) :)

  • Very sad song, but sadly pretty. It is true that we shouldn't divorce over petty issues. But the Holy Bible does say that you can divorce under one reason, and that is adultery. But remember our God is a loving God, and He forgives us for our sins if we bring them to Him. And even divorced people will be walking the streets of Heaven one day.

And we are not suppose to "condemn".. we must judge to a certain extent. God tells us to be cautious of the company we keep.

  • DEAD PIGS!

  • @yomamakunt and what about your mom what did you actually believe you were brought by the stork? i guess your mom is an angel huh? shes actually probably all cracked out somewhere and probably doesnt give two shits about her peice of shit son/daughter shut up and get a life assface

  • Whisper I've had it with you. You guessed this song is about divorce. Maybe, maybe not. My 1st husband stood in our kitchen & said "I'm through" because the Dr. had just said his cancer was terminal. I swore never to let another in my life but 5 yrs later I found wonderful man. He died 18 mo later, cancer. "That's just the way it is." My 3rd is fantastic to me & the kids. Now I too sometimes say "That was 20 yrs and 2 husbands ago." You've said enough. Go someplace else & preach your hate.

  • I love this song,I got to see her concert.

  • i thought this song was called 2 years and twendy husbands ago lol

  • I just shot my load reading downtoawhisper's bullshit.

  • If its so fuckin sinful then quite fuckin watching. its that simple really. CHRIST

  • I came here to listen to a wonderful song, not get peached at by radicals who feel the need to judge others.

That said, anyone with any type of faith has to come to the logical conclusion, we are all human, we all make mistakes & we all have the right to live without radical religious freaks judging.

Finally, just b/c you have a religion doesn't mean it's my rules & as it's be proven already, the world is not going to end b/c I don't agree with your views Let's get along & love one another

  • where do you guys find the energy... go about your own lives have, have a beer or something because it's ok

  • in life we strive to be happy a gift bestowed on us all is the right to love and to be loved, if at first we fail we wipe the tears away and start again, marriage is a bit of paper that's all it is, love is a different story the truth never lies, a woman i met years ago said it took her 6 husbands before she met her seventh husband only then could she really know what true love mean't, so worry not what other's think say or do, what should matter the most is love and the smile it brings to you..

  • @junebug61949

How is what I said self righteous? it's not my opinion...it's what Scripture says. I'm simply reiterating what Scripture states, and I am doing so out of love for my neighbor.

Luke 6:36-37 goes on to say "For with the same measure you use, it will be measured back to you" (Luke 6:38). This means that if you are judging others hypocritically, you will be judged by the Lord by that same measure. It's the same thing as Matthew 7 where Jesus talks more about hypocritical judgment....

  • @downtoawhisper maybe you should re read the scripture you so dearly love it says JUDGE NOT LEST YE BE JUDGED! how you judge others is how you will be judged. do not get into scriptures with me im quite religious myself and there is nothin wrong with this song or anything about it....and as far as marriage and adultery go im fairly certain that god knows the situation generally people dont get divorced without fairly good reason and im sure he knows what those reasons are with no help from you

  • @junebug61949

....being wrong. But righteous judgment is a different story. 1 Corinthians 2:15 says, "But he who is spiritual judges all things, yet he himself is rightly judged by no one."

I would hope that you could recognize your own judgment concerning me and what I said...you contradict yourself in your comment, telling me not to judge...as you judge me.

I would also hope that you could realize that correction is loving. If I didn't love my neighbor as myself, I would leave them be....

  • @junebug61949

....in their sin (knowing that they are on their way to Hell), and never say a word of warning to them. It's like a blind man walking towards a cliff. He's about to walk to his doom, and he doesn't even know it. Is it loving to leave him alone and let him fall to his doom because he looks like he's enjoying himself and you don't want to interrupt? Or is it loving to warn the man that he is about to die if he doesn't turn around?

  • @junebug61949

I am being merciful...I am speaking the truth in love. I only want to get the truth of Jesus out there for anyone to see so that they can understand who our Lord is.

If you want to point out the verse on not judging, you must first take a look at yourself....you have judged me in your comment. This is hypocritical. In Matthew 7, Jesus talks about such hypocritical judgment. Notice in 7:5, He says, You hypocrite! First remove the beam from your own eye. Then you will see....

  • @junebug61949

.... clearly to remove the piece of sawdust from another believer's eye."

Once we get the beam out of our eye, we can teach others the way of Jesus without bringing condemnation upon ourselves.

In fact, teaching others the way of Jesus is the great commission. Read Matthew 28:18-20.

If you love the Lord your God with all of your mind, heart, soul and strength, and love your neighbor as yourself, you will not only live by Jesus' commandments, but you will teach them to others.

  • @downtoawhisper I remember god's handy work on Sept. 11, 2001. You could see he really loved his children.

    Santa is real to right?

  • @TheJer1963 It was terrorists who caused 9/11, not God. Also, what authority do you have to judge God's motives? We live in a wicked and depraved world. Just know: Hes coming back.

  • @ezrahite117 When he returns, I suspect that he will pass over you. He might be afraid that you will behave as inappropriately -- per occasion -- as you do here.

  • @BigSis1347

You could find any reason to justify this or any other sin. The truth is that God hates ALL sin, and so should we. When we say our vows, we say, "for better or for worse." Worse will come, but we must remain faithful to our spouse as well as to the Lord.

There is a great scene in "Fireproof" where one man is mentoring another man through his marriage problems...he says, "Fireproof doesn't mean that a fire will never happen, it just means that you can withstand it when it does."

  • I wish that people could understand just how sinful divorce is. Jesus addresses this in Matthew 5:31-32. Friends, when we take our vows, we say until death do us part...and we proclaim our commitment to each other before the Lord...it is binding. If you break this commitment, you lied when you said your vows. Please repent if you are living in this sin, and seek Jesus to be saved!

  • @downtoawhisper , you know what? I know divorce is a sin, but i can tell you that when i married the first time i was 20 and i did mean my vows, HE DIDNT and he strayed, and i have asked GOD for forgiveness, so i sure dont need it from you! and yes i did marry again, and this one tried to kill me so yes i left, and got ANOTHER divorce, but you know what? its between ME AND MY GOD! not you and i sleep very good at night!

  • @TheVusea

My friend, my heart breaks for you. I am very sorry to hear about your experience.

I want you to understand that I love you, and that I simply want you to go to Heaven...as well as everyone else here. I merely teach others the way of the Lord because I love my neighbor as myself.

I understand that you have been through terrible experiences. I would say that you should just be sure not to marry again because you don't want to live in adultery. Again, I say this because I love you.

  • @downtoawhisper I believe in that same Bible u r quoting ur commandments out of it also says that "Thou Shall Not Judge". But it ain't stoppin u is it? I'm just wondering if ur so God Fearin' & such a Christian & so Holy then how the hell u ever stumbled on a song that is talking bout "twenty yrs & 2 husbands later"??? I smell a Hypocrite...

  • @1970sarteaga

The Bible doesn't say "Thou Shall Not Judge." Jesus talks about not being hypocritical in our judgment in Matthew 7. He says, "First remove the plank from your own eye, and then you can see clearly to remove the speck in your brother's" (Matthew 7:5). For instance, if I had ever been divorced, I cannot tell others "don't get divorced"...that is the kind of hypocritical judgment that Jesus is referring to. But since I've never been divorced, I can lovingly correct others....

  • @downtoawhisper Lee Ann Womack the best in the country area of music

  • @Atlantictv1

Are you defending her right to be sinful?

  • @1970sarteaga

    ....in regards to the issue.

The only reason I'm on this song is to expose sin. I am not entertained by this trash in the least. I am not a hypocrite...I am simply going into all the world and preaching the good news to all the creation (Mark 16:15). In order to bring people to the light, you need to find people who are in the dark...that's what I'm doing...calling people out of the darkness and into the light. It's the same thing as open air preaching outside a bar for example.

  • Cool!

  • Her lyrics are always true to heart...u go Lee Ann!!!!! ^_^

  • Awesome artist awesome song and equally beautiful daughter

  • well, if she looked better 20 years ago she had to be a goddess coz she is absolutely beautiful...Thankfully my husband thinks I am more beautiful now than the day we met, I think he needs his eyes checked lol

  • @lovesfreedomtoo That is so sweet.

  • @lovesfreedomtoo you know, a lot of today's realtionship problems are because to many people think there is something better out there...the old grass is greener on the other side, but when some go to that other side, they find they still have to mow that grass & find themselves thinking how good they use to have it

  • Besides the beautiful voice...she's got to be one of the most beautiful people to look at too!

  • lee ann womack is still, in my opinion, the most amazing female artist and she always will be!!!!!!!

  • if anyone has this download, i would LOVe to have it! please and thanks!

  • A true ladie.

  • She looks a bit like Ashley Tisdale. In the front bit.

  • Jesus says that divorce and remarriage is adultery. "Every one who divorces his wife and marries another commits adultery, and he who marries a woman divorced from her husband commits adultery." (Luke 16:18)

When we take our vows and say "until death do us part," but then break that vow, the rest of our lives, we are living in adultery to our spouse and God Himself.

If this is you, please repent and trust in our Lord and Savior, Jesus who can save you from sin!

  • @downtoawhisper Is it a sin for your husband to beat you, rape you, and treat you like a piece of property? Is it a sin to leave that life behind, and start new? How many times do you expect a woman to turn the other cheek? Next time you have a thought, keep it to yourself......Thanks

  • @frisby1969

I am sincerely sorry to hear if you (or your loved ones) were subject to this kind of abuse. I would definitely say that it is a sin for someone to abuse another person in this way. I'm not saying that this would be an easy situation, but Jesus said that even when our husbands treat us poorly, we are to show them who Christ is and pray that one day, they will see your example and repent from their sins.

    God Bless you!

  • Part 1

@frisby1969 If I may weigh in on this conversation. I agree with you, no-one should be treated like that or try to endure treatment like that.

Just because a someone ended a relationship doesn't mean a new one should be started up, particularly if the relationship was a traumatic one. Being single can and very often is a good thing for the soul and is often undervalued today.

  • @frisby1969 Part2, cont.

Also I know this will be a hard thing for many in this culture to accept, but I must say it anyways. According to Christian teaching when a man or a woman marries someone this person swore to be with the person until the covenant has been broken. Abuse though horrible and certainly grounds to separate from the person does not break the covenant under God's law.

  • @frisby1969 Part 3 cont.

Only death and adultery, does so if after separating the man chooses to engage sexually with another woman then even if he turned his life around and stopped sinning he would've already sworn himself to this new woman and therefore cannot continue his life with his now divorced wife. I hope this helps you understand the thinking behind the rules, if you had any further questions I'd be more than happy to answer them for you as well.

  • @downtoawhisper look here mr. preacher......or miss mrs w/e look alot of read the bible ourselves and in the matthew god says

    1. Do not judge others, and you will not be judged. 2. For you will be treated as you treat others. The standard you use in judging is the standard by which you will be judged.

    3. And why worry about a speck in your friend’s eye when you have a log in your own?

  • @downtoawhisper Let me tell you something Whisper God doesn't exists in the world i come from, My dead beat ex husband Used and abused me for 3 years where was your god than? so you're saying that divorcing your spouse you go to hell... well than drag my happy ass to hell because I took 3 years 3 years of hospital injuries, cheating, and mental abuse when I tried to run he broke my arm and said I was worthless.

  • @LightShade2000

My friend, I want you to know how much my heart breaks for you. I can't say that I understand what you've been through. The only thing that I can tell you is that Jesus can heal...not only you, but your abusive ex-husband. I have read stories about Christian women who have been in abusive situations, and while they called the authorities and had their husbands put behind bars, they didn't give up on the salvation of their husbands. They visited them in prison and continued...

  • @LightShade2000

....to minister to them over time. In order for you to do this effectively, however, Jesus must have saved you first. You must forgive your husband for all of the wrong he has done to you, and you must cry out to Jesus for forgiveness of any sins in your own life.

I know that it may seem like a ridiculous idea to you at this point, but the healing power of Jesus is so much stronger than our pain and resentment. I pray that someday you can understand this.

  • @downtoawhisper ~looks at you like you came from a loony bin~ yeah keep your god and your beliefs or whatever I will stick to my praising Hades Greek god of the underworld. and as my favorite motto is "Go to hell for the company heaven for the climate control" ^.^

  • @LightShade2000

You won't find any entertaining company in Hell....it is not a place where fun is to be had. It is a place of endless torment where there is weeping and gnashing of teeth, and the thirst is never quenched.

You have a chance to escape this wretched place...you can be convicted of your sin before a holy Lord, put your trust in Jesus and repent from your wicked ways. Please do not harden your heart to the truth. Jesus deserves your worship. Trust in Him and repent today!

  • @downtoawhisper

God created all things. God created evil, and pain, and disease. and suffering. God tortures throughout our lives and damn us after, for being the creatures he made us; all for his own pleasure and purpose. All praise be to God!

  • @DineroDarkfire

You completely misunderstand the character of God. If you're listening to most pastors, they will tell you that God decreed all, including evil...but if you read the Scriptures, you'll find that this isn't true. God created us with free will. It is OUR decision when we break His law, and it grieves God very much when we do. Stop listening to "churches" and begin reading the Bible. That is where you will find the truth.

  • @downtoawhisper

Thank you for your response, I will give thought to your comments.

  • @DineroDarkfire

You are very welcome! If you seek after Jesus with all of your heart, He will reveal His truths to you!

  • @LightShade2000 Its time to cut it loose sweetheart or it will continue to eat you from the inside. I have a friend who went with some bad men in her younger days but she has moved on and now loves the Savior with all her heart and soul....she is truely a better woman for it. I hope you find the right way to go.

  • the girl shes sitting next to at the very end of the video looks so mad!!

  • Queen of the Milfs. . .All Hail the Queen. . . .Lee Ann Can Hate mMe Any Morning. . . : )

  • is that her daughter? at 1:07 cause she looks just like the little girl in her video, "I hope you dance"

  • @pappucantdancesaala1 I think it is.

  • she is extremely hot

  • Looks like she was dragged through a bush, backwards, twice.

  • Youd still knock me dead in a sundress!

  • @Ydontyougosuckone696 Your sign in name speaks for why you have such a vile mind...She is a great talent..that is what should be noticed here..not other insignificant things..she is not up for a beauty contest..and they both laugh all the way to the bank..don`t you wish you could look so cheap and make so much money..

  • Probably the best Modern Country Singer around. So rooted in the traditional, but always so present in the now. I love her voice and choice of songs. She's one of the all time best in my opinion. Patsy, Tammy, Loretta, Dolly, Reba, Martina, Trisha ~ LeeAnn. Awesome woman.

  • @flauterfli I think the look was to cement the retro feel of the video. I gathered it to be about an aging starlet in the mid 1970's looking back on her life. Take a look at some of the golden ladies of country in the 1970's. Then, that tan won't seem so gawd awful. lol

  • Comment removed

  • @yomamakunt Wow, the fact that you actually wrote this shows you are exactly like your namesake...only repalce the K with a C and add another N
