Heikki Kovalainen - preparing for the 2009 season

Nobody is stopping Heikki from driving better. The fact is, he isn't as good as Lewis. He should either step his game up, or join another team, otherwise he'll end up as the next Coulthard or Barrichello.

He would do well to make as big of a name for himself as Coulthard or Barrichello, both are highly respected drivers with many wins between them, they should be respected.

Yes they should be respected. Thing is, they also proved they couldn't consistently extract the maximum out of cars that were capable of winning championships. Coulthard and Barrichello proved that they were inferior to the likes of Schumacher, Hakkinen, Hilll, Raikkonen and Button. Hopefully Heikki can achieve something higher, as that what he wants.

kovalainen is one of the most underrated drivers in F1 at the moment. he's not going to get anywhere with the dennis and hamilton combination. look what mclaren did to alonso and montoya. it's sadly heikki's turn and he should get into another team if he wants any success...
