i have to. the M16 A1 jammed in nam because it was issued with the rumor that it didnt have to be cleaned. but the main problem is that it was tested with the cleaner burning tube powder. but when it was issued it some how got changed to the drtier ball shaped gunpowder. so the dirtyness and the additive of the soldiers not cleaning it is what made it jam. im sorry i had to explain it for all the retards.

@spoogeling That's a common misconception. They were very unreliable the first couple of years. However, Later on the M16A1 proved to be a decent weapon, that would work as long as you kept it clean. The thing is, that the M16A1 weren't the gun they used in basic training, so they didn't know how to clean it beore the got the cleaning manual, as well as the cleaning kit. Another thing that made it more reliable, was to decrease the RPM from 850-1000 rounds, down to 650-850 rounds.

1/2It is'nt tradition, it's just the companys were either looseing money because not enough people were interested in their triligoy anymore, or they just could'nt think of anything else to put in, or always the possibility that, like in halo 3, there would be nothing to expand on, because like in halo 3, the alieans were defeated and the war was won, game over. whereas in gears2 there is soo much more info like the 'lambent' the locoust surviving, marcuses dad, or even the rest of dom's family.
