I have heard so many people refer to the whole 'undertones' thing here between Rocy and Apollo. In fact its the same with a lot of eighties movies (circia Top Gun) But I always think its a bit unfair because in a lot these sort of eighties 'bromance' films I often think its more the guy behind the camera thats shooting it in that sort of way rather than what the characters are actually doing on screen.
