  • This tool will work but is not nearly as effective as a rotary brush system is. It is unable to remove water or wet lint. I Own both systems and the problem with this tool is it requires at least 150psi or higher constant pressure to operate decent. that means you would need a truck mounted gasoline compressor to do the job right. Also the airline used in the video looks to be to stiff to navigate tight bends. heat seal sells a much more flexible skipper line.

  • What is the device at the end of the hose line? It looks round and has a constant flow of air. Would like to purchase one.

  • @nydanv In the duct cleaning industry it's commonly called a "skipper ball."

It's a teflon ball with holes drilled along the outside at a 45 degree angle backward that blasts the debris from the duct at an impressive velocity.

  • Is that a water hose or some special hose to clean a dryer?

  • @tenzizona It's a compressed air line.

  • The dryer is on 'no-heat' and running... the propeller gadget measures air flow in FPM.

  • @MELDtoys You're exactly right!

  • poor lady had a woolly mammoth stuck in her duct!

  • @RedFishKilla

    lol... darn near!

  • The tech had inserted the hose about 22 ft. Most of the blockage was located about two feet from the dryer.

  • @rmart96777

Not to argue with you rmart... but the lint was backed up all the way to the dryer.

  • where do I get the CFM tester & the machine ? trying to get started doing vent cleaning here

  • @stemo66

    Check out Interlink online.

  • Approximately how many feet did the technician insert the hose through the vent.

  • @rmart96777

In this particular case the hose was inserted almost 20 feet.

Of course different homes have different lengths of dryer ducting...

  • Yes, a lint-filled duct is the primary reason for clothes not drying properly.

In an apartment, due to the extremely heavy put on the dryers, the lint will build up even faster.

Not only will it not allow clothes to dry properly, but it is a major fire hazzard.

  • so this could be in my apartment's duct i'm having trouble with my clothes getting dry and i checked it's not my dryer thanks for posting gonna call maintaince this morning
