I'm just now getting back onto my YouTube account. I went to see "Bunny & The Bull" tonight at 92Y. It was great. I sat down in the same seat, and pointed to where they stood that night, looked at my friend and said "That's right where they were!" like three times. I guess I'm not over it yet. ;-)
Haha! I was calling your hair the actual mighty boosh. I'm kind of glad it was there. There's a funny pic I have of Noel pointing down at his shoes but it looks like he's pointing to your hair. I should send it to you.
Hey, wow. You taped the whole thing?! AWESOME! I'm the person who said the film was sweet and endearing. I hadn't realized at the time that I made him blush as I blushed myself when he looked at me. :-P Great job!!!!
@ginarsnape When you said that the film was sweet, were you referring to the film Noel and Julian were in called "Sweet", where Noel plays Pete Sweet and Julian plays Stitch? I couldn't really hear what you guys were talking about.
@MarinaCorbi - Hi Marina. No, it was my reaction to the documentary. I thought Oliver's film was very sweet and endearing. He did not take a harsh eye to the guys. You could see he cared about them, in the way he framed and edited the "narrative", as well as the music he chose and also by using the cartoon introduction. He could have shown them at their worst, or sanitized it completely. But he didn't. Even at their worst we laugh and smile, and that is directorial skill.
@MarinaCorbi - did I ever reply to this? No, I thought Journey was a very sweet, endearing film. Oliver is clearly friends with them and the entire thing had this sort of "I love these guys!" gaze to it. When Julian came out in his "actor" outfit, gut hanging out, clearly annoyed at having to fix something pre-show, we laugh because we are made to enjoy his curmudgeonliness, not criticize it. When Noel starts crying at the end of the tour we sort of cry with him. That's what I mean by sweet.
I'm the one who says 'you've got a bug on you". Typical of me, the most fascinating guys are right in front of me talking and I see a bug and that's all I can think about. "Eek! a bug!"
does anyone know if this is being or has been released in the US?
