The update on this is Chip is back at work, loving on the kids and reminding all of us daily that God is still in the miracle business! It is a beautiful thing to see...

@starwarsnaomi You don't beg God to do something. You believe, you pray, you DON'T Beg like you beg a parent, AND yes he does protect these people. HE GAVE THEM LIFE. . He DIED for us. He gave his all for us. Everyone is going to die, everyone will, everyone will go to heaven or hell. God has a plan for everyone of us and we can't change that. Heaven is far greater than earth so let us go and worship with our God and live for him on earth for earth is only a second compared to heaven.

Some He heals and, some He takes to heaven. That may not be our choice but it is His wisdom. He does everything out of love. He doesn't favor one over another. One is not more worthy than another. We are all worthy because of His great mercy and love. His love is unconditional.
So, why did god pick Chip and decide to let many other people die? Thousands of people, including innocence children, die every day and some of them have more people praying for them than Chip did.

That you noticed Chip's story and payed enough attention to ask the question may be precisely the answer to "why?". All in all this is not a question you should ask of any man, as we have't the perspective or the insight to offer satisfactory answers. It is, instead, a question between you and your creator. One, perhaps, that you should explore with Him.
@domn8r59 - that is the real test of Faith for all of us, why? I could ask why did God allow his only Son to become Man, and die at the hands of those He was sent to save from eternal damnation. Would you give up your life for your worst enemy? Why?

As a former ICU nurse, I can tell you this is probably THE most miraculous recovery I have ever seen -- or heard of. And I've seen God work on many occasions. Praise God for the power of prayer. This man is obviously already a man of God and I know God has huge plans for him in the future. Wow! Thank you, Lord, that you continue to show us your power and grace and mercy!
Thank You for sharing this. God is not dead.... NO HE IS ALIVE. Holy, Holy, Holy, is the Lord God Almighty. By His Stripes we are healed and reconciled to him. But it is also wonderful to know that our Saviour Jesus Christ, who is fully God and took upon himself the Nature of man, that He is still working on the behalf of HIs chosen people. He is ever present, ever knowing, and ever loving. We are His body. He is the Head the King. And He is so loving. Thanks for sharing this with us

As a former ICU nurse, I can tell you this is probably THE most miraculous recovery I have ever seen -- or heard of. And I've seen God work on many occasions. Praise God for the power of prayer. This man is obviously already a man of God and I know God has huge plans for him in the future. Wow! Thank you, Lord, that you continue to show us your power and grace and mercy!
