That is the most simple and superficial way to put it. But if you think from a collectors' point of view, this is a good invesment. Do you think that the value of $ has increased 10 times in value in 30 years? Or do you think gold raised 10 times its' price in 1982? Guess what did? Yes, these nintendos increased in value 10 times the original sales price. It is safer to buy shares from big companies.
