season 3 (76-77) "Tennis Bum"...Pepper was undercover as a teacher tho and not a tennis player...she is out playing tennis badly to lure Vince so she can find out more about him and his affilations with a known syndicate boss. Not one of my favorite eps (the crime part was boring to me)...but it was good as far as moving along the progression of her relationship with Bill Crowley (who was in love w/ her by this point)& it showed the difficulty Pepper had in having real relationshipos with men.
ah, yes! the days when tennis players wore pantyhose. Like so many shows of the 70's, womens bare legs were covered. I miss that.
