I have the promedia ultras bur i am using paradigm atom speakers with them. they aound so much better but then again these atom speakers are 150 a pair. The sub on the ultra though is just so clean and deep.

if your looking to buy the loudest shit on the market, then yes, logitech would beat them. but when it comes to audio quality, logitech lacks it in many of their speakers. just loudness and boomy bass (thats all that matters to most ppl)

ur rught, but the loudest shit on the market in the computer range is Razer Mako i think, considering the power and amp efficiency for just 2.1 speakers.

i've heard they are pretty good. but the downfall is that you have to put them on an open and flat surface, so if you have a cramped workspace, i wouldnt really recommend it.

@al3x440 yes i have. ive heard the x540, z2300 and z5500. the 2300 is passable, but is rly harsh in the higher registers when pushed. the 540's response is more rounded, but suffers from the same problem. the 5500 is ok. logitech systems are not perfect in any means, but they'll give the average person a good bang for their buck.

@chaosrealm93, I actually have the z-2300's and an x-230, I had the chance to turn my x-230 to maximum volume and I could hear the air come out of the bass port but the satellites were doing they're job just fine. I was not satisfied with it so I bought 2 sets of z-2300's and from what I've heard they give me all I need, powerful bass & good quality (they are THX certified for a reason believe me).

@al3x440 ive heard my friends' 230 and its ok. but like any other logitech audio product, they emphasize heavily on bass. and for good reason too. every person ive every bumped into either irl or youtube rave about how great the bass is and how they can turn it up to rattle windows. i guess thats all ppl care about nowadays..... sad really.....

*THX makes a great marketing tool, but its not the end all definition of good audio

no....logitech's z2300s can not take them....they sound raspy at high volume and the sound quality gets mashed together.

i'm sure they sound great but i've got the cinema 8 with the rd10-w subwoofer and they are outta this world. and you nailed it on the buttong in your video but not cheap i paid like $7000.00 new for my stuff.
