This movie honestly disappointed me. ='( I was asked to write a review of it when it came out, and it had very little resemblance to the beloved series. It was interesting, but seeing as I grew up watching the series, I expected it to be so much different. Did anyone else have a similar reaction?

its a pity they're not like in the cartoons, but i guess they had to be modernised so people these days, who didn't grow up watching the chipmunks, would like it. *sigh* i wish they'd at least kept the main things the same though, like brittany and alvin but being 'egotistical and selfish' (as Jeanette once described her big sister in the tv series) instead of brittany being extremely nice. it creeps me out a bit that they changed so much... oh well =D
