  • @MrACDC1997 Thank you!

  • @guitarmike26 yeah man you play with feeling and you made it your own song just by muting some strings! and the solo you don'tplay the solo you feel the solo.

this is the 5th tine a watch this!

and you have a nice guitar!

  • @MrACDC1997 Thank you, that means alot to me! My main goal is to always just have fun playing the guitar and the great thing about improvisation is that you can really get lost in it which is when it really gets fun.

  • This is a very nice cover, and I bet it's fun to play as well! May I ask what effects were you using?

  • @troiannus Thank you very much. The effects here are pretty simple really. I'm running through some overdrive into an amp thats set pretty clean. I get the crunch from the pedal. There's some reverb in there and on the solo I used a wah pedal. Thats it.

  • great playing !!

  • @starletrelamenos Thank you!

  • GREAT!!!*****

  • @Urankar3 Thank you!

  • Nagyon COOL!!!

  • dude all your videos leave me stunned... how old are you and where are you from?

  • Thanks so much! I'm from Connecticut and I'm 23. I've been playing for about 8 and a half, going on 9, years.

  • you're fucking good!!!!!!

  • Thanks so much!

  • You can get this backing track with vocals now too.

  • Awesome, thanks for the heads up. I'll have to check that one out!

  • what scales did you use for the solo? minor pentatonic? and when you move up and down the neck, are you changing keys or something? or what's the purpose of it?

haha, wanna ask more about improvising solos in the style of Eric Clapton.

  • Yeah, minor pentatonic, in E. Moving up and down the fretboard, I'm just playing around the E root notes to add some variety into the solo.

  • so you use the different minor pentatonic scale positions?

  • Yeah, its mainly focused around the the scales in the open position and then at the 12th fret. But I also focus on the E note on the 9th fret on the G string.

  • very good but you worng 1 note in the end but awsome 5/5

  • Are you sure your not Eric Clapton lol

Seriously though this is a great cover.

  • Sure wish I were him, I wouldn't mind his paycheck!

    Thank you!

  • ur awesome, any tips for some one just starting out, or any good songs that aren't difficult??

  • I'd say the best tip I can give would be to learn all the basic open chords: A, B, C, D, E, F and G. If you know these chords pretty well then its fairly easy to make them into minor chords and other variations of these chords. Also, if you know these then you can play thousands of songs. I'm self taught so I started by learning the songs that I liked so just find the songs that you like the most and it wouldn't surprise me if the majority of them use those basic chords in some form.

  • sweet, thanks a ton. im working on my first song 2mrw. i hope it goes well!!

  • what wah pedal are you using is it just a dunlop wah. cuz its shit hot :) :)

  • Yeah, Dunlop Crybaby wah.

  • thats one of the best wah pedals you can get...wish i had the money for one

  • Yeah, they're pretty simple but they make a great sound!

  • Great playing, dude. Really impressive use of the wah too, it's a pretty tricky effect to utilise well in solos so much kudos.

  • i love the fact that you used the wah. lol good choice. :)

  • nice, man!!!!

  • nice job!!! check out my cover!!!

  • Thanks for the kind words, I'll check yours out.

  • good job!

  • Thank you
