Nice dog!! I only have one question: why do your dogs wear this ugly steel collars? This stuff is no longer allowed for example here in germany. I mean the dogs look dangerous with these things. Why don´t you use a harness for dogs?
Harnesses are for poodles and Yorkies. This type of training collar is SOMETIMES necessary for initial training or reconditioning on an ADULT dog. It does NOT, and I repeat NOT, hurt the dog at all. I've rescued dogs in Virginia for thirty-odd years, and keep a couple of these collars around. If Germany outlaws them, it just shows that the dog skills and "dog savvy" that Germans used to be famous for is ... well, gone.
First, you must CONTROL and gain the dog's attention. Often, it takes this.
not dangerous looking, it actually prevents them from pulling as much when walking them. They like to pull when they snoop around (if not trained properly) I find it a little more humane than the "Gentle Leader" which annoys the crap out of them and looks painful.
Thanks for all you do for these amazing dogs. So much compassion.

Every dog requires something different. The more tools in the toolbox, the more things can be fixed.
