Just google USS Forrestal Fire, I also know someone who was on the ship and witnessed the carnage. Also, McCain was not shot down over NVN, the carrier air craft mechanics on his next assignment fixed his fuel gauge and shorted him on fuel. They gave him a one way ticket to North Viet Nam.
