She is not a singer sweetie, Preity Zinta is an actress and a superstar but she doesn't actually sing herself. Unless you meant she id your second favorite Indian actress. She acts and she dances but she doesn't sing professionally lol.
I LOVED her so much in this film. She played the role of a loving, caring, and a pretty serious wife. Very beautiful too. It was so touching to see her die in this film, very emotional. She's the one who's so lively, and SHE dies. I loved the scene where she was in hospital, and Salman says "Now smile, so I can see your dimples" lol. That was so sweet!
I have heard many people say Preity could pull off Hema Malini's role as "Basanti" anyday in Sholay. I completely agree with that. Preity could do it! She's been gifted with so much talent, and intelligent, and gift of which she's born to be an actress.

I have liked every of her performances in each of her movies. She acts so natural too, just the way she talks. With a flow. Most of her roles include this talkative, bubbly girl. And some of her roles, give her a competely outstanding image such as "Zaara Hayaat Khan" in Veer Zaara or "Naina" in Kal Ho Na Ho. She works in different ranges of movies, comedy, lovestory, emotional, etc. Which gives her a loving applaude, and huge fans like us!

On the contrary I think basically EVERYONE would agree that Preity looks most definitely VERY BEAUTIFUL in this movie, of course. Yeah in Kal Ho Naa Ho she was naturally beautiful but she was not all glammed up because of the role.

Her name was Pari in the film which means "fairy" so I think there were a few references to how beautiful she is in the film itself, that's what I think at least, lol I don't know.
lol. The director probably named her "Pari" on purposely, for a beautiful reason. Preity is a fairy. So elegant, baby-faced, and gorgeous. She is adorable and pleasant looking. Like a Barbie Doll. Only a trillion times more ethereal and spectacular.

I absolutely love this movie just for Preity, and I actually really loved Salman in the movie too, I think he played the part of the really loving and adoring husband very well, they had the most beautiful and perfect marriage, it was so sweet. That is exactly how I would want my husband to be towards me one day when I get married, lol except I don't want myself or my husband to die GOD FORBID! OF COURSE I DO NOT want my Preity to die either.
This film was so tragic overall and really beautiful in certain parts, and I felt so sad and so awful when Preity's character Pari died in the film, I honestly remember crying a lot when I first watched the movie, now I have it on DVD. lol.
You know the title song "Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaa?" The one where there is Salman, Preity and Bhumika, after Preity had passed away and Bhumika had her heart? Oh My God, that song made me cry sooo much, it was so tragic, so deep, meaningful so beautiful and so heartbreaking, the words ot the song, the music everything,
especially the part when Salman is being haunted by all the memories of his wife and he remembers her all the time I LOVE the part where he had made all of these large portraits of Preity in black and white and placed them all over the house so that he was surrounded by her face everywhere,
OH MY GOD, I love that part! And at one part in the song he went up to one of the pictures and he was like touching her face and caressing her cheek or something like that where her dimple is, I was like Salman please stop, this is tooo sad! And I think there's a part of the song where he says, "I tried hard to hold on to you and keep you with me but I was defeated and you were taken away from me." I was like oh my god, that is just too sad. it was really beautiful.
There's a part in the movie also, where Salman has this really beautiful dialogue about Pari, where he says something like my Pari was exactly, that, a fairy. and I was like aw!!! Her character Pari was basically a really pure, sweet and kind person, someone who was an angel on earth, she was also a doctor in the film so her job was also to help others and save lives, and the fact that she was such an angelic person is reflected in the meaning of her name, Pari.
She was such a pure and rare being that it was almost as though her time on earth was limited, like as though she belonged to another world, not this world, because she was like an angel, I interpreted the concept like God placed her on earth for her to help others and touch people's lives and hearts and then he took her away, took her back to Himself. She was too pure and kind to exist in this world.
Bhumika's character's case was hopless, she was on the verge of death with no sign of hope in sight, and I think Preity's character Pari was basically that angel-like individual whose unfortunate and tragic death gave birth to a new life to Bhumika's character. So Pari was basically like God's angel on earth, even in her death she saved a life and gave a new life to a girl who had no hope. The concept and meaning of this film is so beautiful actually, and Preity ws perfect as Pari.

Ilove and adore everything about her and everything she does, she does it with so much irresistible style, charm, charisma, allure, elegance and grace and she is so full of energy, life and innocence and beauty that it is impossible to take one look at a bewitching beauty like Preity and not be entranced.

I LOVED her so much in this film. She played the role of a loving, caring, and a pretty serious wife. Very beautiful too. It was so touching to see her die in this film, very emotional. She's the one who's so lively, and SHE dies. I loved the scene where she was in hospital, and Salman says "Now smile, so I can see your dimples" lol. That was so sweet!

On the contrary I think basically EVERYONE would agree that Preity looks most definitely VERY BEAUTIFUL in this movie, of course. So I know what you mean, but I think she was supposed to be the beauty of the film in Dil Ne Jise Apna Kahaan, I don't think she was meant to look "unglamourous" or anything in this movie, she was just the beautiful wife of Salman's character whom he loved very much but he lost. Her name was Pari in the film which means "fairy" so I think there were a few references to how beautiful she is in the film itself, that's what I think at least, lol I don't know.

And at one part in the song he went up to one of the pictures and he was like touching her face and caressing her cheek or something like that where her dimple is, I was like Salman please stop, this is tooo sad! And I think there's a part of the song where he says, "I tried hard to hold on to you and keep you with me but I was defeated and you were taken away from me." There's a part in the movie also, where Salman has this really beautiful dialogue about Pari, where he says something like my Pari was exactly, that, a fairy. and I was like aw!!! Her character Pari was basically a really pure, sweet and kind person, someone who was an angel on earth, she was also a doctor in the film so her job was also to help others and save lives, and the fact that she was such an angelic person is reflected in the meaning of her name, Pari.

Bhumika's character's case was hopless, she was on the verge of death with no sign of hope in sight, and I think Preity's character Pari was basically that angel-like individual whose unfortunate and tragic death gave birth to a new life to Bhumika's character. So Pari was basically like God's angel on earth, even in her death she saved a life and gave a new life to a girl who had no hope. The concept and meaning of this film is so beautiful actually, and Preity ws perfect as Pari.

Ahhh Oh my God, now I am scared, you seriously find my eyes small? lol because they're not, that's the first time I have heard that my eyes are small, my eyes are pretty big, or at least I think they are, it;s because I hardly ever wear any make-up at all, but I don;t have small eyes, and when I wear mascara my eyelashes are huge and really long. Wow, I swear your eyes sound gorgeous, my eyes hun are also brown but likelight brown more I guess, they are not REALLY dark, they're more like a light chocolate color or honey brown, but I have no hazel or anything in my eyes, they are just like light honeyish brown lol.

Yeah I LOVE Aisha'a eye color sweetie you are right, they are like such a rich and deep kind of brown, like honey brown and kind of hazel from what I remember which is so beautiful and I can definitely see them turn greenish at certain points, that's how hazelish eyes are and I love it! And she's got these gorgeous perfectly shaped eyebrows and LONG beautiful thick dark lashes that emphasize the beauty of her eyes even more:)

Coming to my sweet Aisha, yes of course I have seen her babe, lol I saw most of her pics on MSN and facebook, I have my gorgeous Aisha on facebook too, lol so that's why. Aww well thank you so much for the compliments on my complexion and hair sweetie, that is very sweet, but darker skin is gorgeous too! So most people would agree and I think that I look much more like Preity than Anushka or Katrina, and even my mom was like I think you do have certain things of Preity in you and she was like you do not look like Katrina, lol for some reason my mom doesn't seem to be a huge fan of Kat. But I like her. But it's my opinion, because my nose, my mouth shape and even my eyes are like totally different than Anushka's.
