No, 1939 there were 17 million Jews in the world, and just under 12 million in Europe. In 1945 there were around 11 million Jews in the World. Today there are oficialy 13.2 million Jews in the World. Although there was a population boom after WW2, the global Jewish population has generaly been in decline due to high assimilation rates. Just about any reliable source will back these statistics.
