mark jackson led the league in assists more than once. derek mckey was a double double guy for more than 6 seasons. reggie lewis was a perennial all star but death took him out of the game. reggie williams lead his team past a 60+ win sonics team. kenny smith was an 18ppg & 8apg guy who was field general on 2 championship teams. muggsy bogues was near the top of the league in assists & steals almost every year he played (& got burn on the court of course). know your basketball b4 you comment

Who cares? They had no significant effect on title teams, with the exception of Smith, but we all know that was Olajuwons team. And had Jordan not retired, the Rockets wouldn't have even won those "championships".
Say what you want, but that is not a deep draft. That list doesn't compare to the 84', 96', or the 2003 draft. They stuck around for 10 years? I could name many players that played for that long who weren't shit.

Kittles was a solid player who made the Finals two years in a row as a significant starter. Marbury career averages: 19.7ppg 7.8apg. Fisher has made the Finals 5 times and has 3 rings. Ilgauskas career averages: 14.5ppg 7.9rpg, plus a Finals appearance. Rahim career averages: 18.1ppg 7.5rpg.
You can't deny these stats or their impact, especially when compared to the likes of Smith, Mckey, Bogues, Jackson, and Williams. They have clearly accomplished much more.

Kenny was not a 17 and 7 guy. Smith career averages: 12.8ppg 5.5apg. Peja career averages: 16.6ppg 5.9rpg. O'Neal has slowed lately because of injury, but still has career averages of 14.4ppg and 7.7rpg. I feel there is no need to defend Bosh, Ford, West, or Carmelo. If you can't recognize their ability, you're obviously not a knowledgable fan of the sport.

Guess i could have been more clear in my statement. As i wrote he's a good player. Nice average in points, with a good fg %. Hes a good player, but he will have to show a better attitude, if he want to be great and make his teammates better. I think the best thing in his career have just happened, and thats AI leaving, and Chancey arriving. See how Detroits is doing, and AI just skipped practice. Hope that chauncey can guide him, cause coach karl seems like a wimp disciplany wise.
