2004 was the coldest Christmas year I can recall in the past decade. We struggled to reach 30 here on Christmas and had a few snow flurries, that was the same year the Gulf Coast saw snow on Christmas. I was shocked, usually when we don't see snow it's because were too far south not too far north. :P
I could go skating now lol(:. BTW how do they determine the local forecast Id? If I had a Weatherstar at home could I program in my local weather ID and have it show the local forecast on a Closed Circuit TV channel?
I hate the Intellistar but I hated this version the most. I remember seeing this version at my grandmother's house in the summer of 2005. I'm lucky my cable company still has a Weatherstar 4000. (I have a few videos of it-just click on my username to watch.)
It's nice to see that Happy Holidays local forecast intro. For some reason, TWC didn't do that this year. Also, this was back in the intellistr days where the announcer would say "your" instead of "our" that it does now in all applicable areas.
I don't think it get's that cold in those areas for these times. But, in the next three years or so you might expect temperatures like these again due to La Nina climate pattern. El Nino brought unusually warm weather here for the past two years :(
