i think that you mistake free energy from alternative energy. Thsi is not about free energy, and yes, engines CAN run on water. Well not on water itself, but on hydrogen gas, with is extracted from water with the help of electricity. Just get a glas of water, add salt, stir it, trow in a 9v block battery, whoop! Hydrogen gas! Otherwise you have a perpetual motion machine. Sure you can extract hydrogen from water and then burn it but the energy it takes to seperate the hydrogen from the oxygen will exceed what you get out of burning it again. So it's a storage medium not free energy. Simple fact.

i think that you mistake free energy from alternative energy. Thsi is not about free energy, and yes, engines CAN run on water. Well not on water itself, but on hydrogen gas, with is extracted from water with the help of electricity. Just get a glas of water, add salt, stir it, trow in a 9v block battery, whoop! Hydrogen gas! The question is, what's cheaper? a gallon of gas, or the electricity you need to produce a gallon of hydrogen, and what milage do you get from both?

@3DPeter Generally, burning fuel (i.e. petroleum products) directly in an engine is more efficient than the long process of burning coal in a power station, transmitting the electricity along a grid, transforming it into a useful voltage for the process of splitting water, compressing the resulting hydrogen gas, storage under pressure, fueling the vehicle and either burning it there or using fuel cells to power motors for the car. BUT reliable renewables would make it much better, but expensive.

@saburius why don't you go try some experiments of your own? When I first heard of Meyer I searched until I found a 2 hour video of a private lecture he gave to a few folks explaining his invention. He even describes the type of stainless steel he used I believe it was type #305. Anyway so i got my hands on the parts and some crude experiments produced very decent results, enough that I would conclude if it were refined it would perform as he said. Don't comment outside of your own experience.

@RevengeofShinobi1 You only have to understand the 2nd Law of Thermodynamics to know for a FACT that you have to put at least as much energy into the water as you get out of it. Otherwise you have a perpetual motion machine. Sure you can extract hydrogen from water and then burn it but the energy it takes to seperate the hydrogen from the oxygen will exceed what you get out of burning it again. So it's a storage medium not free energy. Simple fact.

Dynamite has energy stored in the chemical bonds of the ingredients, there's no violation of physics. A hydrogen bomb involves a nuclear reaction where matter is CONVERTED into energy by E=MC²
The claim in this video is that he's been able to separate hydrogen from oxygen with LESS energy than is recovered by recombining them so it's CREATING energy.
That's 100% impossible!
