  • Oh my goodness! I used to listen to this song when I was a very little girl. My mother would play her 78's for me. I loved this song! Thank you for posting this. I also love all of your wonderful pets.

    So that's the full version....

  • One of my favorite songs. How do the cat and mouse get along, are they allowed to play together?

  • @Patriot1862 haha, well the cat wan ted to "play" with the hamster! Don't think he would have enjoyed it though

  • vielen dank fuer die komplette version ein wunderschoenes lied!!

  • This record, released as London 1448, reached #4 over a 19-week run starting May 1, 1954. Heni Rene's version reached #8 the same year; Tommy Leonetti's #29. Weir was a soprano saxophonist and bandleader. This was his only hit.

  • Kitties. <333333 I am a mama (slave) to four myself, Gleep absolutely loves this song, he wanders in to the room whenever he hears it being played through the loudspeakers.

  • Love this song! It's a 'big hit' here in Holland at the moment in a commercial of an Insurance company

And you have gorgeous pets so I loved to watch this full and wonderfull version of the song!

  • Commercial Schotland should lead you to the clip of the commercial of ... centraalbeheerachmea (accountname)

  • I sind that song at work all the time :D well only that "falleri fallera part" xD

  • I thought of this song the other night and got the record out and played it here at my home. Good Post! It reminds me of one of the earlier Laurel & Hardy shorts. Frank Weir was even mentioned in Norm N. Nite's book, ROCK ON,VOLUME I.

Larry N. Boyington, aka Larry Neal, former curator of the Wax Museum on the big 1520 KOMA

  • beautiful!!!!!!!!!

  • thanks for sharing your wonderful critters and the music

  • So cute , thanks!

  • This is one of my favorite pop tunes from the early 50's

  • Sweet!

I found this song in the 1954 chart @ billboardvideos.(net)

  • It should be one of the best; it reached the top of the charts when it was released over fifty years, ago.

  • @parsonsrules really?! wow!

  • @parsonsrules This is the version that was played throughout my youth, thanks so much. Do you know who performed it?

  • @parsonsrules i remember it as a child listening to it on the car radio and i have enjoyed it ever since

  • @parsonsrules I remember when this came out back then. It was very popular and

sounded great over the old tube-type car radios, (especially if you had the "rear

seat speaker" option and opened up the trunk, causing a "reverb" effect).

Good old days! We still had a Country, (instead of a "Homeland"), that was free,

    (instead of a Police State).

  • this is one of the best versions of this song ive heard :D your pets are awesome great :)

  • @Brodienop hahaha thank you :D!

  • @Brodienop Not one of the best, it IS the best :)
