They are not cancelling the show don't worry :). However Sara is leaving in episode 7 of season 8 and as it stands right now Grissom is leaving in the season 8 finale. Also as of the finale Catherine may also being leaving, and I have a theory that Warrick might get fired (don't hold me to the Warrick part its just my belief on it).
I don't think Grissom is leaving. And one of the producers said we will def see Sara again. I don't think anyone else is gonna be leaving for a long time. They won't do that till they are planning on cutting the show.
William Peterson (Grissom) has been saying since season 5 that he hasn't wanted to be on the show and how he wants to go back to the stage (which is why he left in season 7 for a little while). He only stayed because of the Grissom/Sara thing and his contract is up at the end of this season. So if it stays the way it is now he won't stay into next year, which will really really suck.
@GSRFan182 warrick is now dead so i doubt that he would get fired at one point they do say that grissom is supposed to fire him but doesn't coz he doesn't want to lose a csi as good as him
