Austria's lake district - outside Salzburg is one of the best kept tourist secrets! There are numerous lakes - easily accessible by car. In 2004 you could stay in a Bed and Breakfast Inn right on the lake (with a shared bath) for $50 a night!

This is realy A great spot. I stayed here for a holiday in the 80s.
Dieses Dorf ist wirklich ein wunderschoenes Ort. Vor zwanzig Jahren blieb ich hier waehrend der Sommerferien.
