Are the lightsabers (FX right?) sturdy to begin with? Did they break at all during production? If not so sturdy, is there any other way to make it more durable? I'm asking all these questions because I plan to get a FX Saber soon. Thanks for your time!

Hi... no, they are Luxeon LED sabers. The FX ones would have suffered SERIOUS damage, and become unusable after only one performance.
