Use a password reset disk / USB that you have created previously from Windows. But bear in mind the disk must be created, you CAN NOT use from any other Windows PC meaning you create the password reset disk from your second PC and use it on the locked one, this would not work. The disk must be created on the same PC where the password was forgotten.

What do you do if you know your password but it doesn't let you type it? I have both XP and Vista and, just today, experienced a very brief power outage while in XP. XP still works fine, but when I try to start in Vista, it doesn't let me enter my password. I type one letter or number or anything and black dots spread all across the password bar. Does that sound familiar at all? I've never experienced any problem like this before.

@IggyHazard Try waiting a few minutes for your keyboard to become recognized. If it doesn't, try using a friends usb keyboard and use that to login. Eventually your main keyboard will register once xp loads up completely.

Dude, after i pressed winpass all booted very good, after thatt i had to press 1 cause its my windows installation partition, as same you did at 1:34. After i pressed 1 it reeded som files, and then i dont know what to do, it does not do something. I tryed to type reebot but it said that it was a wrong command.

You can DIY a Windows password reset CD. There is an Windows password unlocker.ISO image file integrated in the windows password unlocker. Burn the .ISO file onto a blank CD with your favorite burners or use the freely burner included in windows password unlocker. With the newly created windows password reset CD, you can reset windows admin password with our erasing anything else

Easy way, just boot up your computer and press F-8 safe mode and go in click on user account and click on remove password and REBOOT . That's it work's on vista or xp!

Try hitting Ctrl+Alt+Del to bring up either the login "box" or a new user called "Administrator" should appear in the list of users. You should be able to click on the Administrator and login without a password.

The way i did it:

1st option, type winpass, type 1, select 4 to unlock, y to overwrite, type winpass, click 1 to continue, select 1 to clear(blank) user password, y to overwrite, lastly type init 6

----- that worked for me when the other methods didn't. Remove the disk before you restart or Trinity will run again.

What version on TRK did you use and what type of "Windows" are you currently running?

I ask this because I used v3.3 build 321. Perhaps using 3.2 or another build might fix your issue.

Yes there is a way to delete his account, but not through TRK. Towards then end of my video (2:35) I go into Computer Management where I click on Users; Here is where you can delete your dauhters ex's account and edit your account to add yourself to Administrators again.

you have to burn it on bootable cd. there must be an option on your software. I use nero and it has an option for creating bootable cd.
