The second wasn't offside. When the ball was kicked, Donovan was easily onside, he's just very fast. They showed a better view during the game. You can't say its offside just because he touched it while he was behind their defensive line, that is extremely ignorant.

Their first goal, from the penalty, was a handball call in the box, but it was a bad call. However, there was another instance when the Galaxy should have been awarded a penalty but it wasn't called, so it all evens out.

It's impossible to tell on this recap because there is no wide shot on LA's second goal. I have the game on my DVR and I slow motioned it and it is definitely onside. It looks off because of how fast donovan is and how far he got behind them.

I agree that there was no handball on LA's penalty though.

I thought it was a good game. I don't believe either of the Penalties and they were both right in front of me. Donovan's foul "outside the box" was in my opinion inside the box (again right in front of me) I think LA should be happy with a tie! They didn't play well enough for the win but I am happy with the effort!

No what we have to look forward to this year is Landon Donovan playing his heart out and a better well rounded team than we have had recently. We controlled almost the entire first half. Dema made the only play he could late in the first and we went down one. They controlled the first 20 mins of the second and then we controlled the back half of it.

Donovans foul in the 23 minute of the second half clearly made contact outside the box, and Dema Kovalenko tried to be that dirty bastard he is by pulling down gomez from 6 yards out. its a must call. your lucky Gomez wasnt aloud to take that pk from 6 yards instead of 12, and he still converted.
