Uh, actually, DyslexicErin and MrTomahawkGuy, you are both wrong. 50 cal ammo is definitely available for the general public, although I'm sure it's harder to get some places than other, the guns and ammo are available without special permit. You can get them at my local gun shop. Also, MrTomoahawkGuy, if you work for a "weapon making company" you do not make guns since you know of 2 gun brands. 50 cals do no cause explosive damage although many people have misconceptions that they do.
