  • This song makes me want to diarrhea.

  • j.P is the shit, me and my brother are getting ready to go see them tonite at the ATT CENTER IN SAN ANTOINO,TX.

  • Glenn Tipton is one of the most under-rated guitar players - he can really rock it. I enjoy playing this with my son.

  • the best there is, the best there was, the best there ever will be

  • Is this song about a spy satellite?

  • @LEGIONARIO1970 It's basically about the government and society interfering, pointing their finger, watching and judging you.

  • これ DVD化されてんのかな?この、82年のライブテイクはかなりくる、ヤバい…

  • Rob Halford is the coolest gay man in history. Freddie Mercury? Elton John? They're also great performers, but they ain't got shit on the Metal God.

  • I am lucky enough to have met all emebers of both bands way back in 1983.. They were recording in Miami and would come to the club I worked in. We were opened from 9 pm till 6 amm.... A Heavy Metal bar.. 2 stages... whoooo hooooo greaty times....

  • 3:02 ''I AM THE FUCKING BOSS''

  • Priest Prophets.... 30 yrs ago they realized what the world would become... Government's erosion of our constitutional rights to privacy. So called "Traffic" and "Security" cameras are everywhere. And how about those checkpoints that seem to keep popping up everywhere.

  • I must get this DVD.Top priority

  • Why do they always play a pre-recorded version of "The Hellion" rather than just play it live before they tear into "Electric Eye"?

  • @MegaRushFan1

I think theres 3 or 4 guitar tracks in The Hellion. So live it wouldnt sound as good with only 2 guitarists. thats just my guess though

  • A pamiętacie, który klip był o tej akcji na pustyni i czaszkach i takich obrzędach jakby ?

Bardzo chcę to zobaczyć jeszcze raz pincet

  • I've always thought there is strange similarity between Peter Hammill and Rob Halford.

  • i'm 44 and still head bang to this!!!

  • rob halford reminds me of ian gillan for some reason. anyone else seem that way?

  • @ryandevison Yeah, his technique is similar, and even if I love so much Judas Priest, I think Ian Gillan is better than Rob (not now, I mean in 70s and 80s).

  • I just had an eargasm!

  • God was up there with a set of PERFECT vocal chords, and he was saying, "Who the fuck should I give these to?"

Lucky for us He made the right decision.

    NOBODY ROCKS HARDER THAN PRIEST!

  • JUDAS PRIEST!!! one of the best heavy metal bands

  • Sorry, but the drummer is shit! Les Binks forever!!!

  • @kabong1981 The guy is grand - sure, he is a nonce, hence they dumped hsi ass - but the drum are fine -- metal can play a safe drum beat wheras thrash needs more techno heads ala Lombardo -- don't see the point in fancy drumming here - his off beats are grand - ever hear of Ginger Baker?

  • @kabong1981 this drummer is in jail for molesting a kid!

    his name is dave holland

  • fucking kik ass

  • notice the total guitar freedom..easy work for old men..? Or simply awaiting a opp?.

  • because a bunch of american assholes bought hondas.instead of buicks..might as well paint jap flags on your fag car..

  • @wzjpkp ???? wtf stfu listen to the music man

  • Its not the artist that sells the rights t the song, its the record companies that enslave the artist and choke them for all their worth because their only talent is to lie, cheat and steal. so they have t pray on someone who actually has a real talent to create. But they usually wait until the fans stop pouring their money into their coffers.... lol

  • Yes! Yes! Sounds much better. Great tour. This show was directed by Mick Anger and broadcast on MTV. Super energy that night. My assignment was Glen. Note around 2:40 two shots of his lead? They were mine...two nights cut together. also note laser cone in opening. I took an Ikegami HL 79 inside during pickup shots and burned two small holes (white spots 0:56) in tubes.

You've got another thing coming was my fave! Loved the show!

  • makes me sad I was born in 88.

  • I saw this tour with Maiden. The memory is still fresh in my mind. Amazing concert

  • @mullenhead1 I wish I was you at that concert.

  • WTF why cant i hear tipton's SOLO???? FUCKIN RIP OFF!!!

  • I bought this album when I was in 8th grade. They came to San Antonio that year and my mom wouldn't let me go see the concert. I have hated her ever since.

  • JUDAS PRIEST ATTACK!!!!

  • JUDAS PRIEST KICKASS!!!

  • JUDAS PRIEST ROCKS!!

  • JUDAS PRIEST RULES!

  • Why, why, why did I hear this during a HONDA commercial? Et tu Judas Priest?

  • @AphexxTwin good question, probably cause they have no respect for Preist

  • @AphexxTwin Are you kidding?!? Yeah I saw the Honda Odsysee commerical and with "The Hellion" , flames, a panther and some heavy metal guy, it made me want to be a fucking mini van! Long live Priest!!!

  • @AphexxTwin Gotta get paid. But i agree, i was disappointed as well.

  • @Rshimy True, you gotta get paid. I was just shocked when I saw the commercial. Guess thats part of getting older, seeing things I once thought were rebellious and cool are now used to pawn what ELSE.....mini-vans....whats next Marilyn Manson songs for Buicks??? (hope not)

  • @AphexxTwin they are calling it quits and need money still

  • @AphexxTwin

I really doubt it was Priest's decision. Most likely it was Columbia, who own the rights to the original SFV recordings.

  • kick ass

  • Saw both Judas Priest and Iron Maiden twice in 1982/1983 in Lansing and Kalamazoo Michigan and in 1986 in Germany, still love this band. man those were the days.

  • Damn....why isn't there video of this high of a quality from the Randy Rhoads-era Ozzy concerts??? It's the same time period.

  • @Jim21680 This is professional recording equipment. Watch the Diamonds and Rust video, he says this was supposed to be for a public video release, and live album, but the idea fell through. All the Ozzy stuff from this period is probably bootleg.

  • @HeadBangerHippy Thanks for the reply. Yeah, it seems that most of Ozzy's concerts from that time are indeed bootleg (or, maybe whoever has the rights to the professional videos doesn't want it released). I really can't say that Judas Priest were any more or less popular than Ozzy at the time, so I'm just curious as to why these concerts were taped professionally, and Ozzy's apparently were not. Who knows! Great bands though!

  • Agreed!

  • Im so pissed off I wasnt born in the sixties so I could see these bands!

  • Fuck yeah! JUDAS PRIEST FOREVER!

  • Haha, how os this possible :D I just opened this page, and then I realise that radio is playing Breaking The Law :D Awesome band, one the best bands ever :)

  • i was still chillin in my daddys nuts when this was ruling the air

  • I want to go see Maiden and priest that we be so cool.

  • yep, they toured with maiden. I had the rock shirt, maiden on the front and priest on the back. wow, those were the days!

  • I saw Maiden and Priest at the New Haven Colisium in 1982. It was Killer!!!!

  • yes, you guys are right. Iron Maiden did open this show. I was there in '82. Probably the best metal concert I've ever seen.

  • This track, along with "Bloodstone" still give me chills down my spine when I jam them nice'n'loud like they should be. Hell yes! I've always been very impressed at how JP sounds just as good live, if not better, than they sound in the studio so damn good as well. If you're a fan and you've never seen them live and you've got the chance to do so... TAKE IT! You won't be disappointed one bit. ROCK ON!

  • Anyone else think Glenn has a strange resemblance to Steve Vai?

  • @videogamer1805 nahhh Steve Vai just experiments on guitar, Glenn Tipton Rocks!

  • @ThePoison27

Not in how they play, in how they LOOK.

  • Anyone else notice Rob's bullwhip? O_O

  • Epic is the only word for the hellion !

  • What an awesome rock tune. Freaking epic.

  • Por favor regresen a México

  • wow.... what can anyone say....except fucking awesome!!!! i have seen them live 5 times.

  • SAW this show with Iron Maiden ,they blew Maiden Away ! It was pouring rain in Maryland at the Capitol Center and They blew the power after 1 minute or 2 ,then the power came back and they started over..I also saw Defenders of The Faith Tour.... Bad Ass!!! THEY STILL ARE!!!

  • Which concert is this!! I want to download it so baaad... PRIEST RULZ BITCHES!

  • unarguably the greatest voice in metal

  • LOVE this Priest Song. Easily one of their Best Albums.

  • Best band ever!!!

  • what a killer groove....one that is deceptively difficult to lay down and make it swing the way it does...

  • Man wish i could go back in time to go and see there concerts

  • @Kuerbis626 Dude, you don't have to go back in time. Priest is still touring today and sound better than ever. I've seen them 3 times in my life, 2 of which were in the last 5 years.

  • @Kuerbis626 their concerts now aren't much different

  • I guess Halford is a regular in the Hillcrest area of San Diego...

  • I saw them at the Us Festival and it kicked ass. Heaven opened up for them on this tour? That is rules....I had their first album "Bent" and it was loaded with killer tunes, especially the son "In the Beginning". They pooped out afterwards and they started to become an 80's band. Their guitar player Kelly had a Jackson guitar named after him.

  • Judas Priest, one of the only bands that consistently play better live than recorded. Brilliant.

  • Actually, a group called Heaven opened for them on this tour. I was front row center stage in Feb 83 in Tulsa OK. I was only 15 and was OBSESSED with Priest. During the song You've got another thing comig, the lead singer of Heaven came out on stage in nothing but a towel and he stood right in front of us. Halford ran up and yanked his towel off during the solo and his schlong was hanging out for all to see. Gross moment but the most phenominal performance by Priest!!!

  • @starnscot u know halford's gay right but hes still a good singer

  • @DrunkenMaster03 it doesn't matter if Rob Halford is gay, straight, or loves to play with german sheperds he's still one of the best singers in heavy metal history and a great human being

  • Agreed.

  • @MetalMania33 i didnt say he is bad person and im not saying that gays are bad people

  • SO?????? Do u know how many Famous Gay People their are?>??? I can name like...3 off hand: Fredie Mercury,Halford, and David Michaels just for a few. It dosen't matter.

  • Dont forget Elton john

  • Thats right.

  • Judas Priest sounds exactly like the album

    fuckin amazing

  • This album put them in the super group category.

  • Glenn smoked every note perfect on his solo, gave me chills, so sick!

  • I believe that Iron Madien opened for them on this tour...can you imagine, in one show getting Priest in the middle of their prime and a young and hungry Maiden supporting "Number Of The Beast", arguably their greatest album? I was only eight in 1982, so missed it by a few years, unfortunately. Fantastic stuff.

  • Just thinking of that makes me jizz.

  • @awj1974 well i was only -13 in '82 lol

  • @awj1974 so you havent miss anything cause IM have smth to do with JP.

I had come from 80-s and happily remembering myself in those times

When IM has released its fucking good "Number Of The Beast'' JP was already the best metal band in Europe

Of course IM took smth from JP

But then i thought that IM better and now im thinking that maiden had been better and is better now. But JP is good too!!

  • @awj1974 im only 17 so i was not even thought of yet hahah but if iron maiden opened up for priest supporting number of the beast my favorite maiden album and priest my Favorite metal band dam i get the chills just thinking about it i would give anything to go back in time for that historical event if gods willing maybe they will invent a time machine hahaha

  • @awj1974 nope, maiden supported on the point of entry tour so it would them supporting killers with paul dianno but yes that would be amazing

  • @awj1974 I was 17 and I saw the Maiden/Priest tour. One of the best shows that I've ever seen!!!!

  • @awj1974 I was 13 and this was my first concert.....hasn't been any other show in 30 years of music that was even close.

  • @awj1974 Iron maiden ? What is iron maiden ?

  • @Klitschko89 jajaja puto poser....

  • @awj1974 IT WASN'T IRON MAIDEN,MAIDEN OPENED FOR THEM THE YEAR EARLIER,ON THE POINT OF ENTRY ALBUM,AND MAIDEN WAS ON THEIR KILLERS WORLD TOUR,I SAW THE SHOW IN HOUSTON TEXAS...AWESOME SHOW.

  • this is one of my favorite solos

  • Glenn's facial expressions make my day

  • Personally i find "the Hellion" one of the best metal riffs ever created.

  • This is great quality for 82.

  • buy the original and see what is-just perfect ;] :)

  • Now that's what I call a kick ass intro!

  • this is great! i love this song

  • This is Judas Priests golden age!!

  • exellent footage my friend tyvm!!

  • Rob is fuckin cool!

  • takes me a way back, and with stories to tell...lol
