My wife is a teacher. We both agree this was a bad idea, and won't fix the problem. Parents need to be more active in educating their child at home first, and not reliant on the school teachers so much. The kids teacher can't come to every students house every night to read with them.
The people in our office are not even Republican anymore, this is officaly "NaziBushica"!! The Military Commisions act, the No child Left! Behind Act!, ant the Patriot act! This Equals, War, Death, Torture, Spying and Rape!! Are we to forget how history repeats itself? Prescott Bush? Rudolf Hess<and Drugs!! These will cause war and be okayed because these are Federal Laws now!!Wake UP!!
Then empower kids to learn how to be entrepreneurs early on in life. Schools should teach the subject, after all these kids are either going to work for a company (profit or non profit) or create their own path by owning businesses. Let's really teach them real life lessons. Why do we still have to follow the industrial age style of education while we are in digital, service- oriented age?

Smart education should include the arts and creative insight. But, because of NCLB, arts are being cut from school
