I just watched it, and i don't understand some of your responses. It is a really, really good film, it's been a long time that i haven't seen a film that quality. I mean... actors, accents, talks, scenes, looks... everything's perfect.

what's more i love Melanie Laurent, we don't see her a lot, but it's enough, she's a marvellous actress !

A few laughs but basically an awful film. Imagine one of those formulaic Hollywood comedies with an 'inspirational' story. Now take away the banal subject matter and replace it with classical music, add a foreign language plus subtitles. Now pretentious middle classes can enjoy it! Best bit was when you heard the music at the end.

For all that cannot be expressed there is music, and Tchaikovsky is one of the greatest composers of all time .

By god, the movie is extraordinary. I recomend it to all balcanic people and other that are at least curious about the baltics, cause we are crazy and true , we are always late, but when we do something it really does turn out good in the end .

Really nice film, although unfortunately it has been dubbed really badly in italian. The parts in russian have been dubbed in italian with fake russian accent. Really offensive and disturbing. We italian people should form a class action against movie dubbers.

Je reviens du cinéma, ce film est tout bonnement MA-GNI-FIQUE. A la fois drôle et dramatique, il fait rire et prend aux tripes.

Une fin sublime, aussi belle que la musique qui l'accompagne... Ca fait du bien de voir que la musique classique est toujours reconnue, et de voir que dans un film on peut lui laisser autant de place ; le concerto de la fin m'a bouleversée.

Great movie, great feeling. But still, I don't agree with the Russian image that it's promoting. I'm sure the Russians are not so far behind technology, manners or everythning that makes up modern society. All in all, the actors are great, the music is divine, and the director ( român de altfel :) has a great vision about art and the artist's need for perfection!
