the program I use is called istopmotion, and I use a very fast frame rate, but istopmotion is only for mac.

I dont know what program legodude8000 uses though

its around 1700... im making stop motions and its 15 FPS i think. so 118 x 15 :D (1770)

yes, this animation could have easily taken 3500+ pictures

probably not. it takes usually 600 frames in pivot to make a 1:00 animation. and this was 1:38 long. (minus all the credits) to it and with stop motion for a stall, you can just extend the time the picture is shown. so this probably only took around 900 shots. but then again i could be wrong. ive never done a stop motion animation but i do animate.
