Are you serious? People are getting mad because their BABIES are being handcuffed when they screw up? I am a barber in Milwaukee and I know the kind of shit that goes on in the schools. If you can't teach your kid to be a law abiding citizen or at least to act like a human, then they should be handcuffed, nobody gets a free pass, nobody. And don't use a racial card either, I know of white and mexican kids who get handcuffed so yeah.

I went to a public school in the south, when we got into fights, we got 4 or 5 licks on the ass with a wooden paddle (not a pleasant feeling). Makes you think twice about doing it again. But hand cuffs? Too far. These are kids, not criminals.

Well I grew up in the North ....and many people that i ended up whooping they behind in a fair fight either came back with a knife or worse. As a mother w. children moving out of brooklyn ny.....Sometimes hancuffs are necessary to detain think about it kids run back to get worse weapons.....I have seen it first hand .

Ok, Im in a MPS school. If a kid younger in the grade of 1 or kindegarten can get handcuffed and everyone else can. If you fight you can get handcuffed. EVEN KINDEGARTENS CAN GET HANDCUFFED

did you ever get into a fight at school. I did. I never was put in handcuffs. The problem is that MPS already has very poor standards and accountability when it comes to discipling kids. This would just be another thing for them to mess up... Unfortunately their mess ups forever impact the psyche of children.
