Hi. i got this phone 3 days (or 2) days ago. if you only like it for the "slide" or if you want to get a sidekick 3 as you call it "turns around and up" you could but this phone is probably slightly better. the plan is realy good 0$ upfront and then 50 $ a month for 2 years(DONT DROP IT) i am on that plan and its perfect.. when im in town and get boared theres always msn in my pocket :) i realy recomend a hiptop slide 3 (sidekick slide as soe people call it) i dont blame you

well. the bluetooth is a bit strange. i think only because i'm getting used to it. you cant like just select a songand click send. but the esb cable is good because got half my itunes libary and droped it there...so umm i think theres a way around it but if you get bluetooth for your pc your friends could send it their and you just stick your usb cable in. and you can multimedia message and e-mail songs to eachother. i've used it so muchin the last 3 days and it's so good. i think the slide is the easiest to use, actually. I mean, for getting a smaller keypad and a smaller screen, you get moe ease of use. Instead of the difficult swivel, you just slide it up. the trackball and the d-pad are easy to use, and the position of the camera is in a very convenient and useful position.... But i really do love my sdekick '08. =-) lol

Yes and no. The AIM, Internet, and Myspace always goes out (the G displayed at the top of the service bar means that stuff works). But calls and text work all the time
