  • The way that funny girls dances..gorgious sixties style.....Love all the sixtie girls....

  • very lovely eurhythmics :))))

  • on this one the elephants were stoned

  • @ Thommy Cortina

Do you know who that girl is in the clip?

  • @Quanyin69 - It's a pity that I don't know - in Netherland we call this sort of things "lekkerding" - probably request at popinstituut.nl…

  • what a awesometrack. she not bad ethier.

  • this song is really different from their other songs. that's why it was a hit

  • echte nederpop geweldig

  • golden song

  • BTW, is it me, or does the singer look a little like Roger Daltrey?

  • This is obiously before Barry Hay came in as the vocalist. (right?)

  • Frans Kraggenburg , succeeded in 1968 by Barry Hay

although the band managed to keep up with sound during the decades I still think the sixties were their best

and it's bloody F^%#$ hard to get this record for a reasonable price LOL

  • @24AB2 thats Krassenburg ......LOL....

  • @BPavsner Hello BPavsner, no there wass no Barry Hay, Frans Kraggenburg or George Kooiman 200% better singers then Barry!

  • @sibbele25 thats Krassenburg .....LOL....

  • golden !

  • This must be the greatest garage song ever written! Not least for its hilarious twist on the typically garage/punk type of theme, rich and snotty girl that is out of reach because of her money, status and aristocrate wanna be family.

  • I think I had recently read that they started calling themselves in plural and later they lost the final "s" in their name. Those 60s dutch groups were awesome! Outsiders, Motions, Q65...

  • hi its earring not earrings;)

maby you can learn about it;)

  • hi zakmes123, it's Golden Earrings, till 1967 that was their name, maybe you can learn about it;)

  • It was Golden Earrings until 1969.

  • Shit Tune Great Pop Tune ;-)

  • my dad was in school with these guys

  • I believe the girl was a British Go-Go dancer

  • Go-Go dancing 1966 /watch?v=ar-Z_l907DY

  • Is that really her in that Booker T video??

  • @rudi761

I watched the video and I loved it! :)

  • great song from Netherland

  • much like the Beegees Golden Earring[s] sixties output is so underated and brilliant!,smoking cigarettes, the truth about Arthur etc, great music.Peter,London

  • a fantastic song:)

    very good!

  • true pearl !!

  • I'm in love with the girl in this video.

  • Wow, this doesn't sound anything like Radar Love!

  • Doesnt matter Golden Eaarrings and Golden Earring were and are great. Beatuiful sound.

  • I know, I was just joking. They are both good though.

  • Wow! What a treasure trove of great old music. Who would have thought that such a sound would have come from Golden Earring? It's sooo cool.

  • ahum ..why we shouldnt have thought that. Their great from start till the end :)

  • I'm 16 and I knew this song for all my life, but I never thought it was from GE. It just sounds so different from the most GE song I know

  • If u listen to the Stones in the early 60s and to them in the 80 you hear something totally others too. Its because both bands are making music for so long thats why its sounds so diff.

  • Wat een schatjes waren het toen :P

  • Nice..very nice. The man with the golden!! voice. I still regret the day Mr. Hay popped up. And that girl..yeah..pretty nice!!!!

  • What (instrument) is the singer holding?

  • the instrument is a typical dutch instrument called an acordeon...my dad used to live around the corner whrere the studio was when Golden Earring still was golder earrings and played one time on the fluit (dont know english word fot that) of the singer when he was about 15 (im 17 now)

  • No dumbass :), he means the AUTOHARP!!

  • The Electric Prunes used one too.

  • And so did John Sebastian of the Lovin Spoonful :)

  • And so did Brian Jones on one of his last Stones recordings ('You've got the silver',

    '69).

  • I love the twist of the typically 60s garage theme-guy is hopelessly in love with a rich and snobby girls he cant get because of class gap.

  • Great song, great girl, great band! We lost out not having their music in the States in the 60's

  • Different singer and drummer from the 70s-80s line-up.

  • Whoohoo :-)

  • Where are the girls like the black-haired beauty in this vid too?

  • yeah, so true.. =o

  • In Holland, get over there!

  • Frans Krassenburg forever! Best singer they ever had, with George on backing vocals they beat The Beatles on their sloffen!
