Ringo Starr performs The Other Side of Liverpool at the press launch for Y Not

Ringo still plays drums as if you notice there are two drum sets on stage in this clip. So he does go back and play on some songs. On the All Starr tours he plays drums on more than a couple songs in fact he plays on almost every song he doesn't sing on.

So he is still drumming for over 1 hour every show not bad for a 70 year old.

saw Ringo and the All Star Band years ago was the Worse lineup ever no edgar winter no one i respected Shiela E on drums /puke but Ringo was Epic he played the drums on 3 or 4 songs and the keyboard once but he let the losers from the 1 hit wonder 80's bands do some their Terrible 80's pop songs every other lineup i have heard of had people i would enjoy seeing so i gotta try again =)

Ringo is great, I'm so sorry that ho does't play on the drums. With The Beatles he was far better, but he is still talent, he is a living legend, we love him, and his new songs are really good and more than good.

@77agi77 he still does play drums, but not often, he will usually play a song or two on the drums at his concert, but you have to relies, ringo is almost 70 lol, he cant move like he used to

The album sounds really good (to me), but I have to agree with another post here.. RINGO hasn't needed anything since 1963! As much I really like THIS SONG, it is hard to relate to it...

I really want to like Ringo, but this song .. uuuffff. "The other side of Liverpool" Really??? The last time he had to worry about how rough it was there was almost 50 years ago! Since that time he has lived a pretty luxurious life. It just seems disingenuous to dedicate a song to the hardship there. That and the songs are just plain snoozers. :(
