A well done film however a bit too much about "young people" like their hubris is something "new" from previous generations. My advanced reporting instructor once told me (journalism school many years ago) that everyone has a great novel in them and it is a blessing that almost none of them get written. I have to point out something..
Correct me if I'm wrong but most of those people are no more than teenagers reporting what they've heard on the news to us as if it's their own personal opinion.. They know no more than the mainstream tells them so why are we dissing the mainstream? I'm all for sharing opinions, but these people aren't experts. Why would I trust news that's been watered down with opinions of people who know nothing about the unbiased situation.... Just sayin...

A well done film however a bit too much about "young people" like their hubris is something "new" from previous generations. My advanced reporting instructor once told me (journalism school many years ago) that everyone has a great novel in them and it is a blessing that almost none of them get written. Obviously everyone has a video in them and this time they are getting made. That may or may not be a good thing. I agree with vainprop below -- much of it is just attention whores.

So your basically saying that people shouldn't be allowed to their opinions because it may be "dangerous" for everyone to voice their opinions, to write their novels, and to make their videos.
This is what is wrong with the mainstream media - they are elitists believing that only they have the power to portray the news. They want you to hear the news the way they think that it should go. Not the way it really is.

yeah youre right it is an evolution used to our advantage which is what tends to stick to our traditions and customs, but its not necessarily saying its a bad thing , its just saying the reality of it, not really trying to spread a message except the obvious which is what everyone does by posting their youtube videos. its easier to spread your ideas and opinions as opposed to back in the day. so lets use it to our advantage to be heard especially if we feel strong about a certain idea or topic.
