@fixerloureiro2 I "play" Pink Floyd, but not with the same perfectionist approach that I take to LP songs. Like I'll play Comfortably Numb and stick to the same thing Gilmour plays for the first few bars of the solo and throw some of the other licks he uses in here and there afterwards, but for the most part, I kind of make it up as I go along. I'll jam along with One of These Days, but I don't play lap steel and can't play slide guitar to save my life, so I improvise a bunch of it.

@fixerloureiro2 I do know how to play Time pretty much note-for-note though, as that song has one of my all-time favorite guitar solos in it. I won't even pretend that I can imitate Gilmour's vibrato, but that's one of those songs I really spent a lot of time on.

hey astat, do you know where i can find accurate bass tabs for linkin park songs? i think the bass in their songs is really buried in the mix if there is a distorted guitar at the same time, it's hard to play by ear then.. or is the bass playing exactly the same as the guitar..?

I have a few bass tabs done, I'm really not a bass player though, so I don't do them very often. The bass in LP songs tends to double the guitars on most distorted parts, with occasional fills here and there.

Drop D, down half a step. I've seen some tabs going around that have this song in Drop B with the B5 chord in the chorus played as open strings, those are wrong.

what do you think is the best finger positions for the 535. my way is hard (for me anyway) i but my middle finger on the 5th on the low Db, my index on the 3rd fret and my ring finger on the 5th.
