  • just askin' where i could download sc2 maps.. plss reply if you know 'bout a reliable source thank you! :)

  • This woul only work with low level SC2 players. Still cool vid.

  • Great game. I like the initial high wield switch :-)

  • agreed i hope they rework the terran music to be a little more deadly and a little less country bumpkin

  • After they removed the 80s synth factor from the SC2 tune it just sounds like random hillbilly music. Me no like

  • Nice idea, but this tactic won't work, as soon as a few players start to do it, they'll just block you with their workers and than u totally lost ;) As long as they micro a lot and ur scvs cant kill them ;)

  • oh jesus, red shouldn't play sc2. he just shouldn't.

  • 7:07 why didnt the red terran just shoot the tanks from the top of the ledge?

  • files/389234884/PROtoss_hahahah_sure.SC2Replay

  • ur enemy is totally noob , evry mid player would bash u

  • well his opponont literally walked by his base......so he did scout.

  • man if he scouted, you would have gotten ass-raped in seconds. This is not a practical build at all haha. Looks like your APM is decent though.

One thing i'd change is get tanks and 1 viking or dropship and take the side ledge and cut off his gas. A terran without gas is GG and if he doesn't have tanks with scan to counter the game is over.

  • @StarcraftStudy he did scout 1:40 watch to his right

  • Yo SlaineD we are rooting for you. Go out there and get rank 1 Platinum!

  • This guy is a tactical genius.

  • @tuski117 not really, there were lots of ways red coulda won, he just wasnt very good.

  • @tuski117 no? If his ally knew anything, he would have been dead before he had a chance to defend himself.

  • This strategy again....

  • An interesting strategy with the high resource minerals/base liftoff. It would've been much better to make some barracks right near his base and constantly pump out marines and stuff near it. You'd cut his base off and turtle him in a lot while you could also make more units right where you need them to fight.

  • what an amazing strat i never thought of... The lift-straight-to-gold-minerals strat haha. Amazing.

  • timespeed game? normal ,fast or very fast?

  • @PaulStance182 Faster

  • The audio quality of this video is absolute shit...

  • so is the video

  • Holeee sh*t... and I thought Terran relocations only worked in Natural Selection! Sweeet!

  • It's not worth it, you never really catch up before the gold mins are mined out.

  • @Krissam2k not true.

  • how would you stop this lol...

  • This new theme song is so awesome

  • The liftoff at the beginning was awesome. So ballsy, so much reward!

  • two words:

    BARRACKS

    ADDONS

  • otherwise pretty cool.

  • @klopsasaurus He didn't need them, spent the gas on tanks.

  • Do you guy like the old terran theme in Sc1 or this one?

  • SC2 one is my favorite now. However, I prefer the Protoss and Zerg themes in the first one because they're too ambient in the second.

  • @Cruelhazard Yellow mineral piles give 55% more minerals per trip than Blue mineral piles. So early in the game doing this gives a massive advantage in minerals, unless your opponent expands - then they will have 40% more than you.

  • @RyokenMK Yellow minerals gives more than blue minerals. Giving you an economic advantage.

  • I was talking about endsymphony being a rude fuck-head.

  • Considering that he was faster than the opponent, I think this may become a staple move in TvT because no Terrans hit within the first 2-3 minutes - yet. Vs Zerg I'm sure this would not be a wise move, great idea though.

  • slained does this again in a crota video check it out at his page Blizshouter

  • This is awesome :o

I wonder if its beneficial for terran to always do that :o

  • Probably not. An early scout in the right place could have fucked that up. It was a very risky but rewarding move.

  • In fact, you see the enemy SCV pass him in his line of sight. Surprised he didn't see it.

  • He did see it, he even tried putting up a bunker.

  • Very creative, like it :D

  • Lol parts of the song reminds me of the Anime Bleach...

  • That was very BW gosu style, I like it...

I also like the new speed for terran buildings, I like the old one too but this really allows to catch up thanks to the high yields whereas before, you could only dream of nice moving strategies cause they really weren't effective...

  • quality is poor, sound goes loud/quiet often.

  • Wow...what interesting tactics.

  • that guy has some hair on his chest for doing that. ballsy as hell

  • Nice cheese

  • GOLD!

  • 5 star because it was an awesome game doesn't matter the quality..better than no quality

  • Is this the new SC music?

  • ya terran music overlayed because theres no music in beta...but maby someone else can also comfirm this. That is what I heard from hd starcraft

  • I think he said that there's no music in replays, specifically - I'm sure there's music in the actual games.

  • @Nile505 there is music in the beta

  • Yes, but there is more than one song for each race. Nothing from the original though.

  • What does the favored on the loading screen mean? Is that your better, or your more likely to load faster or you've played longer or what?

  • New music sux compared to BW.

  • O.o great idea ^^

  • Would be awsome when both T would head for the expo (as blue does). ^^

  • the video quality is poor

any way you could improve on that?:)

  • YouTube needs an few hours for get HD on new videos.

  • why didn't he use the add ons to his rax from the start, and have a numbers advantage that way to break the front?

  • Haha what a plan!

  • atleast tvt is still lame as ever =P

  • scv at 1:40 must be lik WUT!?

  • who else thinks that the terran music lack raw power. I feel like I'm freaking working in a saloon in the wild wild west.

  • agreed. It reminds me of the transitional scenes from firefly. Doesn't have the driving force of the old sound track.

  • @ninjasks89 Like everything else with this franchise its stolen - this time from firefly -

  • @ninjasks89 yeah and i'm also dissapointed with the sounds... why did they choose harsh Wildwestern voices for SCV drivers lol I miss their sympathethic "orders received"... terran computer voice sucks too... heh the change of this particular voice reminds me a lot of a change of Command and Conquer E.V.A's voice between CC1 and CC tiberian sun... guess they couldnt find the sweet teen which voiced the original as she matured:D

  • Good looking. ^___^

  • North American "Pro" players play a completely different style of game (both micro and macro) than Korean players. This strategy would get mauled in a true "Pro" environment and in actual Pro-leagues. Also, the brackets (Copper, gold, Platinum, etc.) are used to sort players based on how well they play, not how they play.

  • gg you two

  • Hilarious use of barracks as overlord spotter.

    :) :) :)

  • if you watch SC, Rax are constantly used as scouts since they are very tough and are mostly useless unless you go for some strange build like this.

  • lol, awesome

  • LOLOLOL GOSU MACRO!!!

  • a worker works for ~6secs (mine + trip), 2 workers on same patch give you minerals ~ every 3 secs. Starting positions with blue minerals have 8 patches - 40 min every 3 secs from fully saturated field (16 workers). Yellow min field is 6 patches (each giving 7 per trip instead of 5) thats 42 minerals every 3 secs on a fully saturated field, but with less workers (12). Migrating to a yellow field at start is just not worth it, it actually puts you behind.

  • I think you'll have only more 2 scvs at most by the time i float my cc to the new spot. Thats 40 minerals, while I'll make 42 on my first trip. So my rate of return is already higher. The game didn't really last long enough to see him use the extra mineral patches.

  • only in the beggining, but that's why he gets defences up as soon as possible instead of macroing up like most terran

  • if your opponent do a proper searching, it wont work at all. it only works at non-pro levels..

  • This is a platinum ranked match. He did scout me on the 10th scv. Standard

  • then what did he do? absolutely nothing.

It's not matter of balance. The opponent just didn't care much then after searching.

  • What do you mean by that? The lifting off and landing only took a few seconds, even if my opponent knew I was going to do that, there's nothing he could do about it.

  • 0:04 - 0:50.

It took about 46seconds to begin that cheese.

How about you send one scv really fast next time and do the faster searching, and send marines quickly?

I see no way to be defeated if you are aware of the cheese and react quickly next time.

  • All red had to do was play standard, tech and expand, but instead he kept commiting to piecemeal attacks. His overreaction was his downfall.

He should have had a starport by the time the cheese was ready.

  • Unless you stop it early, a gold minerals base produces more income than a main+natural base in less time.

The other oponent only has an edge the first 3-4 minutes.

  • I disagree, the gold expansion only have 6 mineral patches against the normal 8 minerals. So let's say that you can have 2,5 SCV's per mineralpatch in average (cuz it depends on how far it is from the CC), the 6*2,5 = 15SCV's for the gold expansion against 8*2,5=20SCV's on the normal. The minerals per trip for the gold is 7 minerals. while the normal is 5.

  • @nejtilsvampe yeah but the benefit to taking gold is you don't have to make as many scv's to have a strong econ, it cuts your push distance in half, and it makes taking your normal natural on this map way more safe. I've seen people just do a 2 barracks push with this lifting one and bunkering up under the mineral line with like 4 marines 4 scvs, it's incredibly hard to stop in any matchup.

  • @antikmart im sure zerg would make short work of it, if they are able to scout it early that is

  • LOLz surprise surprise.

  • mariens are basically useless they're just there to take damage... Tanks 1 shot dead lol.

  • tier 2 units typically own tier 1 units ............

  • @Aeiouv1 Yes, In Warcraft maybe. You have here counter at early stages of the game for something that is later tech.

  • lol dude in SC and WC its sometimes

    quantity> quality.

i actually just beat a person in WC3 using Huntz, ACs and glaive throwers. while he had knights and gryphons

  • awesome surprise play. And they shouldn't just rockpile every gold expansion. this was ingenious! Keep it as a facet of play for a while and see how the game develops, I say.

  • you know they're just going to add rockpiles to every high yield after seeing this

also fix the audio, it's awful

  • lol

how much minerals u get from those gold patches??

  • I think you get double the normal amount of minerals, but gas is the same. Great replay showing how terran can abuse some maps.

  • @thedarkone123123 You get 7 minerals per trip from high-yield mineral patches.

  • How much from normal patches?

  • 5 minerals per trip from normal mineral patches.

  • omg this is the most leet replay i've yet seen... perfect play, total control

  • so the whole map is revealed at the beginning of the game in sc?

  • You see all the map features but not where your opponent spawns.

  • @Psyduc16 yes, is revealed.

  • wc3 style

  • OMFG

    THIS IS HILARIOUS
