@Fentanyl3 I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree here. If you had gravel back there and the load shifted it could sent the trailer way overcenter and lift the front end up in the air, really injuring somebody. It can happen with hydraulics too, but since hydraulics aren't compressible at least the trailer itself won't be moving, even if the load is. I know a guy who lost a good portion of his hand operating a tow truck when lifting a car and the load changed. The truck shot up in the air.
@mgraveman Thanks for a civil reply even though I was being a smartass, honestly, I didn't even take your comment in that direction mentally, I thought you were talking about it bursting and collapsing, but you have a very valid point. We'll have to agree to agree.
Those look like air ride suspension bags, linked together. I know I would like to get a closer look at their system..You can get them through most truck parts dealers.
Would like to see with load inside trailer with scale reading, Could become unsafe? What weight max attempt's at what floor angle?

It's a neat idea, but how safe can a compressible gas be in a lifting application?
mgraveman 10 months ago
@mgraveman pretty safe, compressed gas hold millions upon millions of cars up each day.
