In the fırst look I wondered how the directors managed to imitate this city crowd in a futuristic city given that this movie has been produced in 1920s. Very brilliant.
@AlexDraco By all accounts he was inspired 40 years later by the Maria robot to create C3PO, indeed much of modern scifi owes a lot to Fritz Lang's work here.
