  • fail on the flip

  • top speed??

    nice vid 5/5

  • 9 cell is great but it will make the truck handle funny and then theres more stress on parts because the battery weighs 2lbs, go lipo there getting so cheap these days

  • i got a pede..370 dollars in mods on it but it was well worth it.. oh i also have a homemade wheelie bar on mine, its really neat looking

  • what kined of engine is that and how did you make that battre

  • mamba max 5700

  • is it a 12t motor of a brushless??

  • Its mamba max 5700, read the description

  • Dude, did you make that motor fan/cooler or whatever the hell it is, cuz i want one, got n e info?

  • what are those straps you used to hold down the battery or where did u get get them

  • would you reccomend the stampede, and also does it handle well. Like doing high speed runs does it flip alot?

  • I personally like the rustler vxl better than the stampede

  • thanks.

  • how did you make the wheelie bar im trying to make one and i cant figure it out.

  • Go to Traxxas' forums, under Electric > Stempede, and search for wheelie bar...

  • You can also go to ebay search for Banzai Bars. They are excelent and cheap.

I have one too and it's great

  • i forgot to ask, do you think if i put a 3cell lipo battery in it if it would work as fast

  • 3s LiPo will be faster than 9cell NiMH, moslty because LiPo pack will be lighter... Unless you get like a 12000mAh pack..:)

And yes, brushless setups are Nitro killers for the most part, when it comes to pure acceleration and speed.

  • you think it could outrun a nitro rc car because i have a 12 cell (no lie) and he wants to race me. tell me if i stand a chance or not = P

  • They're airplane wheels... Got them at a local Hobby store...

  • I love the sound it makes. Really smooth, yet obviously powerfull. :D

  • Crazy!!! Nice job on the modification. Plenty of power now

  • omg plz put the body on

  • How long did the fan last for you? I used a 6000rpm CPU fan for computer, one of the leaf was damaged after the fist couple jumps. good wheelie btw

  • wow nice!

  • what size motor do you run in this its a 9cell bat right

  • It's a Mamba Max 5700. 540-s motor.

  • nice job on the wheelie bar.sweet vid

  • how hot does the battery get?

  • would't it make more since to put the wheels on the bottom of the plate.... So if you wheelied up hard enough, it wouldt stirp the screws out of the plate..... If they were on the bottom, wouldnt the plate stop it from happening.....? or did i overlook somthing...?

  • I got my stampede to wheelie 450ft today. And only stopped because I did not want to crash into the wall at the end.

  • What gearing was that and what were the temps? Also, what is the top speed with that setup like that?

  • It's been a while but I believe I was running 12/90 at the time... The temps with that gearing and the fan never went above 170F, even with the 9cell pack.... Without the fan, I was seeing 190F temps after about 10min...

  • Oh yeah, the speed... Well, I don't have a GPS unit or anything to accurately measure the speed with, but from some of the speed runs I did, I'd say 45mph + is a safe bet with 12/90 and 50mph+ with 15/90 gearing...

  • looks like fun.

  • VERY nice. Sounds like your slipper is loose though (not like thats a bad thing running that much power and on the street).

  • how long does the battery last?

  • ~20min...

  • Thats insane.. Great vid

  • damn just half throttle!! imma bout to drop 4bills for that kind of setup!!

  • you need more room to control the beast

  • Dude, that is haaaard core.

  • Man that's only half throttle... Not enough room for full speed...:)
