@dying2l No. Dolphin doesn't even utilize all 4 cores. Just make sure your processor is clocked at 3.5 ghz or higher to perform full speed. Also you are going to want a good graphics card.

my pc is igual as yours, the only thing that changes is the processor that is a phenon II x4 955, but I can't play with fps higher than 20 =/

You probably need to "copy EFB to GL texture (hack)".

BTW, what's with the 'bloom'? I think that's what it's called..looks like a soft lens effect. I think they really went to town on the bloom in mario kart wii, because with the low resolution of a real wii, it'd look like dogshit, on a full HD LCD tv. But some tracks have MEGA bloom and some don't have it at all. Or is that just a graphical glitch in the emu? Is there any way to disable it? Looks bad with the full HD that dolphin can provide

hey i follow your settings and when i play a race the screen is a little darkened and map and some other effects don't appear...such as drift,gas,and all other user interface related like the chronometer...the speed is also lame...it sais 100% but i get half the speed as you

hmm maybe cause you are running pal, i had those settings and have a lot of gfx issues!

disable optimize quantizers and it should fix the issue. The region you have doesn't affect this game at all.
