This is still on tap for Wii but Nicalis hasn't announced an official date for it yet. They have been having some trouble with the final game formatting, apparently. By the way, Chris Schlarb, who composed the music for the game, has a new album called "Psychic Temple" due out in December. Some is in the "NightSky" mood, some is radically different. Guests include trumpeter Kris Tiner, bassist Steuart Liebig, and Mike Watt from the Minutemen!

I'm worried the game has been cancelled. The publisher hasn't said a word about it in almost a year now and no one has a real idea of when it will be released even though it was originally planned for the end of 2009.

I think you may be a tad confused here. It's definitely Nicalis making the game, and I don't know where you got Nifflas from. The guy in charge of the development team is also called Nicklas, if somehow you misread that wrong pretty badly.

@WiiloveitTV Um, Nicalis is the company who is coming out with the game, but the idea and original programing of Night Game comes from a Swedish guy named Nicklas, who is known online as Nifflas. He has also made the games Within a Deep Forest, Knytt, Knytt Stories, and Saira. You can check the Nifflas Support Forum for more details on him. Please do some fact checking before you correct people.

This 2D Monkey Ball / Niki Rock 'n' Ball / Loco Roco -alike looks pretty cool, and I can't wait for more info / the release. From this trailer alone, it's already one of my most anticipated WiiWare titles.
