Human emotion towards each other is something we have developed over time. We have conquered many great things together and have grown close to one and other (in general). (Like animals) we would defend ourselves and each other against any other species. Also X-Rays have been detected by indirect means that our senses can see. On the other hand, we have yet to get any pictures or any other forms of quantitative evidence of the existence of angels or God. Therefore it is safe to assume that there is no God.
Ok it is true that we can indirectly determine that there are x rays by using tools to do so. Without these tools we would be helpless to prove they exist. However lack of evidence or lack "proof" is still just that and can not ever be counted as "proof" that something doesn't exist. Many things at one time couldn't be proved to exist. So therefore according to your logic or lack there of if you can't prove it it must be impossible.Anyways I await your evidence to prove there is no God.

Likewise I have a hard time with whether it's ok to just let Islam say to not draw cartoons and automatically enforce their laws on the rest of the world by threat. Science tries to prove the existence of the 'implicate order', that is, the elegance of nature. There is that, and in some instances there isn't. I think Charles Darwin himself was aware of that. Maybe you could look at God as the personification of that 'implicate order'.

Science, as I said before, has been and will continue to be wrong in certain instances. It is from these mistakes and the actions to improve and find the answer that we as humans have become so advance. Near the end of the Renaissance, atheism took a stronger (but not very strong) grasp and it is during this time in which atheism has been present that humans have advanced as a race. I am aware that many scientists were religious, but at least they were open to new findings, unlike religion.

There is more than enough scientific evidence. There are entire libraries that have been written on Evolution proving beyond any reasonable doubt, just read any book on it! Human emotion towards each other is something we have developed over time. We have conquered many great things together and have grown close to one and other (in general). (Like animals) we would defend ourselves and each other against any other species. To kill another species does not affect our emotions the same as killing our own (like animals) because we are united as a species in so many different ways. These are emotions that we have DEVELOPED... Not emotions that god has given us.

Yahushua (Jesus) was born approx. last 2 weeks of sept./first 2 weeks of oct. so you all need to fervently study, Christmas is totally pagan and Jesus commanded us to keep the feast, there were 7 feast so if you are wanting to celebrate try focusing on what the messiah said and yes, it is in your King James Bible too, but use a strongs concordence as well as a hebrew translation, since Yahushua spoke hebrew/aramaic

Yule was a pagan tradition, which was hijacked by the church and renamed "christmas". Of course, the renaming wasn't equally successful everywhere, so in Scandinavia it's still called Yule.
And sorry, but dancing around a tree and getting gifts from a fat man in a costume doesn't strike me as particularly christian either. So who's the hypocrite here?

Your really dumb . We as christians celebrate christmas because it is the birth of jesus christ .
My family give eachother gifts and tell stories while we sit around the christmas tree.
It doesnt matter if we have a tree or we give gifts , its the whole intent behind the day.
Sure christmas might have come from a pagan tradition , but it was the birth of Jesus we celebrate.
Celebrate yule or something else , but not christmas cuz that has Christ in it.

Actually, since I live in Denmark, I do celebrate Yule. But if the personal intent behind the celebration matters more than its origins, then you can't call people hypocrites for celebrating christmas despite their lack of belief in your particular brand of invisible gods. You can't have it both ways, I'm afraid.

What we celebrate is the solstice, or simply spending time with family, or whatever (it's obviously individual, since we are not organised). Using the word christmas is simply a convention.
And excuse me, but where in the world are atheists persecuting christians? Certainly not anywhere in the western world that I know of. And in the US atheist are actively persecuted BY christians.

If they didn't and accept or not anything, we would have superstitious "facts" like when people believed the earth was flat and it wasn't proven until someone with logic came. Religion forced these facts false and wouldn't open there eyes for some time. And they've done it again like you have.

Yes we chose to accept the evidence our own senses because the only reality is the one before our very eyes. Everything else is pure fantasy. Plus there is no evidence in favor of the existence of God but there is plenty of evidence proving the opposite.

Maybe that's because all the evidence I need can be looked up in any decent high school or even elementary school science text book?
Also X-Rays have been detected by indirect means that our senses can see. On the other hand, we have yet to get any pictures or any other forms of quantitative evidence of the existence of angels or God. Therefore it is safe to assume that there is no God.

Ok it is true that we can indirectly determine that there are x rays by using tools to do so. Without these tools we would be helpless to prove they exist. However lack of evidence or lack "proof" is still just that and can not ever be counted as "proof" that something doesn't exist. Many things at one time couldn't be proved to exist. So therefore according to your logic or lack there of if you can't prove it it must be impossible.Anyways I await your evidence to prove there is no God.

Well, that's what it is, I'm sad to say. It's from the Star Trek: The Next Generation television series, and it really is just Captain Jean-Luc Picard playing a flute (there's a story that goes with it, but you really need to see the relevant episodes to get all that). But I agree, it is a beautiful piece.
