Man, let me tell you something:

I was at the super market when I was like 9 and they were some NES cartridges on a shelf. OTHELLO, STAR SOLDIER and TABOO. My Dad told me: choose one, Alex.

Back then, most game's music was written in hex code, the hardest way to write music. This game uses hex code for it's music. Back then there weren't any sequencers until Dr. T came out and then they started using that for NES music and some other sequencers like Digital Performer, Cakewalk, etc.
