@pmurcyard turns out hte spark plug wires i had just bought were bad, the #3 would not seal on the end of the spark plug, changed them to msd and everything was great.
it's at .030 right now and i'm only at 16 lbs of boost. i tried widening the gap and that didn't work either. i think it might be on of my spark plug wires that i just put in.
how come nobody uses granatelli wires, they have the lowest resistance by far.

Sounds like spark blowout. Lower your plug gap a little and see if it helps.
