something along those lines... its blackpowder though, the smoke wouldnt come from a gas, the only thiing gas has to do with is the gas expelled from the BP to project the grenade

i have figured out now, wat it is.

you have to see this as a very big bullet. it has a primer with a cap. (thats how tacome does it)

he fills the cartridge with a gas, he puts the warhead on and done.

a primer ignition is enough to make gas ignite so its actually not blackpowder charge (is possible to)

so instead of black-powder, gas.

i wonder whats better? i prefer powder

@snowface27 fuck why did that slip my mind. now i feel retarded haha yeah its just a large bullet. um and im with you on the powder vs gas. gas is easier to procure, ( just use a lynx deoderant can or something. im from nz so its AXE(?) i think?  but then you have to create the grenade with tight seals so the gas dosent escape. so yeah powder is better haha

@JohnLeBlanc77 i may be able to help. what sort of 'sniper' are you looking for? i have alot of ww2 bolt action exploded diagrams/blueprints that may be of help to you. ( k98k, mosin nagant m91-30, springfield m1903, lee enfield etc. might have something a bit more modern. however i have an exploded diagram of the h&k sl8, which is a marksman version of the h&k g36 or the diagrams for the fal that might help if you are looking at making an accurized version of a battle rifle, like the svd.. etc

Rough black powder should produce a moderate acceleration if loaded as a shallow cylinder at the base of the projectile. Even better, if you can configure the charge as a concave shape so the gas production increases when the powder deflagrates from its center to the perimeter while the grenade moves forward.
